Description
This USB otoscope camera is a portable, handheld video camera with a short focal length. It has a high resolution camera which provides great video quality. The camera is compatible with Windows and Mac computers, and with Android phones and tablets. It is not compatible with iPhone and iPad devices.
On the tip of the camera there are 6 adjustable LED lights, which light up the ear canal and increase the visual field of view. The camera can be used to view the tympanic membrane (the eardrum) and external ear canal to diagnose outer and middle ear pathologies.
Keep this device out of reach of unsupervised children.
How to Use
- Plug the camera into your device.
- Open the appropriate software on your device (see below).
- Clean an ear cover and attach it to the tip of the camera.
Accessories
Please attach an adapter to the end of the otoscope before you use it. The otoscope should only be used when an adapter is in place.
Also be sure to clean the surface of the adapter with one of the included alcohol swabs before using it. You can also disinfect the adapters with steam at 134°C.
Software Functions
Please install suitable APP for your devices.
Android

Download the “USB Camera” app from the Google Play Store.

Plug the camera into your phone. Depending on the type of phone you have, you may need to use the included USB-C adapter. Just look for the adapter that fits your phone.

Open the USB Camera app and give it permission to use your device’s camera.

Tap the menu in the bottom right and select’ Record’ to take a video or ‘Snapshot’ to take a photo.
– For Windows 10-
- Plug the camera into one of your computer’s USB ports. You may need to use one of the included USB-C or USBA adapters. Just look for the adapter that fits your computer.
- Search your computer for ‘Camera’ and open it.
- You just need to switch the Camera app to use your otoscope Camera. Look for the change camera button at the top-left or top-right of the screen. If it doesn’t appear, you can also try right-clicking in the app and looking for ‘Change Camera”.

– For Windows XP/7/8/10 –
Download and install ‘Amcap‘.
Download: http://gto.so/amcap.zip
Please make sure to select the right device name in the menu.
Plug the USB otoscope to your computer.
Step 1: Click ‘Devices’ in the menu, choose ‘Teslong Camera’/’USB 2.0 PC Camera’.
Step 2: Click ‘Options’ in the menu, choose ‘Preview “.

CD Plug the camera into one of your computer’s USB ports. You may need to use one of the included USB-C or USB-A adapters. Just look for the adapter that fits your computer.

Search your computer for ‘Photo Booth’ and open it.

In Photo Booth, click ‘Camera’ in the menu at the top of the screen.

Select “USB2.0 PC Camera’.
Note: You can also use the camera on your mac with Olick Time Player.
To do so, just open Quick Time Player, select ‘File’, then select ‘New Movie Recording’. Then click the down arrow icon ext.to the record button in Quick Time Player to switch between your computer’s camera and the otoscope.

► The camera is compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10.
► The camera is compatible with Mac OS.
► The camera is compatible with Android operating systems 4.4 and up, on
devices that support the OTG and UVC functions.
► When not using the device, please store it in a dry environment away from
damp or wet areas.
► For best quality when recording video, please use resolution 1280×720 MJPEG,
30fps or 640×480 MJ PEG,30fps.
► If no light shows up on the camera tip after connected, please adjust the
brightness control knob.
► The focal length is fixed at 2-3cm {1 inch), so please adjust the distance
between the camera lens and your ear to get focused if you cannot see the
image clearly.
► Ear canal is not perfectly straight, please gently pull the top of your ear
up and back to help viewing your eardrum easily.
► Please adjust the brightness of the LED lights to prevent glare.
► Please keep the camera clean to avoid blurry image. Blurred images after a
period of use are caused by the earwax on the camera lens
