Before using the appliance, please read the user manual carefully and completely and keep it for future reference.
Braun «Face Spa» is a facial care system that combines two beauty treatments: The small, precise epilation head removes even the finest facial hairs from the roots.
The cleansing brush attachment improves  your skin’s appearance through gentle and deep pore cleansing.

Important

• For hygienic reasons, do not share this appliance with other persons.
• Do not use the appliance on irritated skin.
• Do not use the epilation head on eyelashes. You may use the epilation head for removing individual hairs between or above the eyebrows, but not for shaping eyebrows.
• When the appliance is switched on, it must never come in contact with clothing, ribbons or long hair to prevent any risk of personal injury or damage.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super vision or instruction concerning the safe use of the  appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
• This appliance is suit able for use in bathtub or shower when it is used with the brush attachment.

Batteries

Replace the battery as needed:
Open the battery compartment (1) by turning the lid towards using the brush provided. Replace the battery (AA alkaline, 1.5V) observing correct polarity (b). Replace the lid by aligning the dot with (c) and turning towards to lock it. Make sure your hands and the appliance are dry when replacing the battery.

Batteries may leak if empty or not used for a long time. Remove exhausted batteries in a timely manner and avoid skin contact whilst handling leaking batteries. Dispose of batteries safely.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. The terminals must not be short-circuited. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance before being charged.

Facial epilation

• Before use, make sure your skin and the epilation head are thoroughly clean.
• Turn on the appliance by sliding the on/off switch (2) to the left or to the right. The rotating direction of the tweezers depends on the direction you move the switch when turning on. For best results, make sure that the tweezers rotate against the direction of hair growth.
• To become familiar with the appliance we recommend trying it first on the chin or near the outer corners of the mouth.
• Hold the appliance with the tweezers against a section of skin that you keep stretched with your free hand. Carefully guide it with gentle pressure against the direction of hair growth. Do not press too hard as this may lead to skin injury. To stretch the upper lip area, use your tongue to push from below.
• After use, slide the on/off switch to the «o» (= off) position.
• Carefully clean the epilation head using the cleaning brush provided. You may want to dip the brush into ethanol (70%). Make sure that it is completely dry before you re-attach it and close it with the protective cap.

Facial cleansing

Pull off the epilator head and attach the brush/pad adapter (6) provided with a cleansing brush (5a) or vitalizing pad (5b).

Before use, moisten your skin.

• Use the cleansing brush or vitalizing pad as part of your daily cleansing routine with water, soap, cleanser, cleansing milk, gel or peeling products.
• The vitalizing pad additionally provides an intensive massage to improve your skin appearance. Guide the brush/pad with gentle pressure and circular motions.  Avoid the eye area and hairline.

After use, rinse the brush / pad (5a/5b) with warm water. You may detach the brush/pad unit by pressing the release button (6a).
After cleaning, leave all parts to dry completely before reattaching.

• Turn on the appliance by sliding the on/off switch (2) to any direction.
• Guide the brush with gentle pressure and circular motions for approximately one minute. Avoid the eye area and hairline.

For best results, replace the brush/pad (5a/b) every 3 months. Different types of refills (Ref. no. 80 Face) are available from your retailer, Braun Service Centres or via www.braun.com.

Disposal
