FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do they come with grills?****
Grills are not included.
Does it have to be supported by its legs? If it’s flat on the floor, does it make it less effective?****
Although the KEF Q750 is not required to use the feet, they are useful when used on less stable surfaces. For instance, thick carpet may call for greater footing, hence the “feet”. Many people choose to use the feet on hard wood as well, cupping the spike with spherical floor covers to prevent scratching or chipping of the speaker cabinet. The feet’s real purpose is to give the speaker a better sense of grounding and to enhance audio quality. But it’s absolutely optional.
What is the sensitivity rating?****
The sensitivity rating is 88dB.
Are the speakers passive or powered?****
The speakers are passive.
Can these be bi-amped?****
No, these speakers can’t be bi-amped.
What is KEF Q Series?****
The intricacies of bass instruments are faithfully imitated by the Q Series. KEF drivers have a bigger roll surround and better suspension, which provide crisper bass at louder volumes. A revised cone design enhances midrange clarity, and an upgraded Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) with a new surround and rear suspension enhances bass quality.
