3. Mounting and connecting the outdoor unit
- We recommend a mounting height (1) between 1.35 and 1.70 meters, try to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
- Remove the outdoor unit from the sun canopy and use the sun canopy to mark drill holes for mounting on the wall (2).
- The sun canopy should be mounted with its entire back side flat on the doorframe or wall.
- Drill a 6 mm hole (3) to connect the connecting cable through the doorframe or through the wall to the outdoor unit.
- Connect the connecting cable to the outdoor unit (4).
- 1 = Blue / 2 = Black / 3 = Green / 4 = Brown
- Remove a rubber gasket (5) from the bottom of the outdoor unit.
- Place the outdoor unit in the sun-rain hood and screw it with the smallest screw from the bag of mounting material.
- Finally, the rubber sealing cap can be placed back.
- The slanted corner mounting cannot be used in combination with the sun/rain hood and should not be exposed to rain. The angled corner assembly is only suitable for indoors or under a canopy.
4. Mounting and connecting the monitor
- The WiFi monitor (1) must be mounted within the range of your WiFi. The connecting cable from the outdoor unit to the WiFi monitor is 15 meters, please take this into account when positioning the monitor.
- Mount the mounting bracket (2) at eye level and note that on the back of the monitor the connections of the outdoor unit, the 12V DC adapter and possibly the electric door lock must be made.
- The mounting bracket provides just the right amount of space to make the connection of the 4core connecting cable between the monitor and the bracket (3). Plug the connector (4) into the socket “OUTDOOR IN”.
- Plug the connector (5) of the adapter into the socket “DC12V”.
- You can now place the monitor on the mounting bracket and carefully slide it downwards, paying attention to the cables.
4.1 Control Regulators
On the side of the monitor you will find the following controls:

4.4 Second monitor connection (DV50-P1M2)
The second monitor must be connected to the WiFi monitor with the cable (equipped with a plug on both sides) to “J11 INDOOR OUT”. The cable should be connected to the second monitor at “J3 OUTDOOR IN”. On the last monitor in a series, in this case the second, the small white switch 1 should be in the ON position.
4.4 Extend cable at your own risk
If the connecting cable is too short and you want to extend it, this is at
your own risk.
Always use a similar cable, 4 core 0.3 mm². Please note that the cable cannot
be extended by more than 5 meters. Cut the plug with a piece of cable, strip
the wires and solder them to the extension (max. 5 m). Then solder the
extension to the existing cable. Insulate the solderings with insulating tape,
do not use clamps or other types of terminal blocks.
(*) If you choose to use a completely new or existing cable, make sure that it is no longer than 20 meters and that the individual wires have a thickness of at least 0,3 mm² and no more than 0,5 mm².
