How to Use
- Step 1: Connect the power cord to a grounded outlet and turn the 1/0 power switch to the “I” position to power on the device.
- Step 2: Choose a pre-set timer button (120s, 180s, or 30 min) as needed. Note that the lamp will not turn on until you press the ”Timer Start” button.
- Step 3: The UV bulbs will illuminate, and are now ready to cure gel polish. Place your hands in the device until the lamp turns off or your gel polish has been cured.
- Step 4: Turn the 1/0 power switch to the “0” position to deactivate manually.
Replacing UV Bulbs
- Gently press the base plate and pull the base plate free to expose the bulbs.
- Remove base plate completely from device.
- Carefully pull bulb(s) free from socket. Insert new bulb(s).
- Replace base plate and push until it locks into place.
Tips
- For best results, try to prevent extensive hand movement during curing.
- Ensure that gel polishes are compatible with the Sol 1 before you purchase them. The Sol 1 is for gel polishes marked “UV” only.
Important Safety Information
- Make sure your outlet supplies correct power voltage to avoid damage to the device.
- Do not unplug the lamp during operation.
- Always unplug the power cord in between use.
- Do not place heavy objects on the lamp housing.
- Do not disassemble the device. Doing so could be dangerous and constitutes voiding warranty conditions.
- If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by MelodySusie or another authorized professional.
- WARNING : Ultraviolet radiation may cause injury to eyes and skin. Protective UV shielding gloves are recommended.
- Certain cosmetic substances may lead to adverse skin reactions.
- Children under 18 years of age should not use this device without parental consent and supervision.
