Operating Instruction

First : For the user who has setup a alexa echo device (echo+,etc)

Twist your bulb into smart light socket and power on it
Make sure your echo speaker (echo +) works well
Speak loudly: “Alexa” to wake up the echo( echo +) device, and say “Add a new device.” Then the echo (echo +) will start to discovering, this will take a few moments.
TIPS: (During pairing, the bulb will start to flicker about 3 times)
Alexa will start pairing after the light bulb flashes TIPS(It takes about 30 seconds for paring)
When pairing finished, you will hear the name of this socket from the echo, like “…the first light”, or “… the first plug.”
Pairing succeed! Now you can call “Alexa” to “turn on the first light” or “turn on the first plug”,

For the user who does not have a alexa echo device (echo +, etc)

For the user who does not have a alexa echo device (echo +,etc)
From alexa, add the echo (echo+) device into alexa . 3.After that, then go to the above instructions 1,2,3,4,5,6.

Second: For the user who has setup a Samsung Smart Thing system.

The same set-up steps as Alexa echo devices just amazon echo you call “Alexa” while Smart Thing you call “Bixby” to wake up the Samsung smart device, the rest steps are totally the same way.

For the user who does not have a Samsung smart device (Samsung smart Speaker, refrigerator, Samsung TV, etc)

To buy a Samsung smart device (Samsung smart Speaker/ refrigerator/Samsung TV, etc)and download Smart Thing app.
From alexa, add the echo (echo+) device into alexa
After that, then go to the above instructions 1,2,3,4,5,6.

Download the APP (Only for Samsung; Amazon echo device no need download other APP, just Alexa APP is ok)

Hub connection (Only for Samsung; Amazon echo user no hub required)

If the connection fails, please move the hub closer to your phone and try again.

Power on

Powering on

After powering on, the device will enter the pairing mod during the first use and the LED signal indicator flashes.

The device will exit the pairing mode if no next operation for a long time. If enter again, please long press the manual switch for 5s until the LED signal indicator flashes and release.

Add the device

Add devices according to the prompt on the APP, note that you should choose “eWeLink” . (Only for Samsung; Amazon echo user can ignore this point)

E0755-E27-ZigBee is a Smart Light Socket that adopts ZigBee wireless protocol and connect to your internet through the ZigBee hub. You can turn on/off, schedule on/off and share the device with your family to control together and so on.

Factory Reset

Long press the configuration button for 5s until the LED signal indicator flashes and release, then the reset is successful. The device enters pairing mode.

If pair the device with hub again, please reset the device to factor default.

TIPS

This is an upgraded smart light socket, no need download Smart Life APP. eg: if you are amazon echo user, auto connect this light socket with Amazon Echo Devices, no hub required for amazon Alexa
The blue light on the socket itself will flash if it is in the pairing mode. And the bule light will stay always on if it’s not in the pairing mode, then you just need to long press the button for S seconds until the blue light flashes so that it will get back to pairing mode.
Turn on the power first, the device automatically enters the network pairing mode, the blue indicator light flashes quickly, if there is no operation for more than 10 minutes, the device will exit the network pairing mode, and the blue indicator light will not flash but stay on. If you need to manually enter the network pairing mode, press and hold the device switch button for 5 seconds until the blue indicator light is fast flashing.
