Smaller batches are fried more evenly. -
The set temperature is too low. Increase the fryer temperature.
-
Preparation time is too short. Cook the food longer.
In a hot air fryer, the ingredients are fried unevenly
- Some types of ingredients need to be shaken halfway through the cooking time. In the middle of the cooking time, shake the food lying on top of or over each other (eg French fries).
Fried food is not crispy.
- You used the type of raw material intended for preparation in a traditional fryer (frying in oil). Use ingredients suitable for preparation in a hot air fryer or lightly oil the food for better results.
I can’t properly insert the pan into the fryer.
- There is too much food in the cart. Do not fill the basket above the MAX mark.
- The basket is not inserted correctly in the pan. Push the basket down into the pan until you hear a click.
White smoke comes out of the fryer.

- There is still fat residue from the previous use in the pan. White smoke is caused by heating the fat in the pan. Clean the pan thoroughly after each use.
Fresh fries are fried unevenly in the fryer.
- You didn’t use the right type of potatoes. Use fresh potatoes to make sure they stay firm during frying.
- You did not rinse the fries properly before frying them. Rinse the fries thoroughly to remove the starch from the outside of the sticks.
Fresh french fries are not crispy.
- The fragility of french fries depends on the amount of oil and water in the french fries.
- Be sure to dry the potato sticks properly before adding the oil.
- Cut the potato sticks smaller for a better frying result.
- Add a little more oil to achieve a crunchy result.
