1. Installation Introduction

Drill two holes in plaster, brick or concrete with a power drill and insert expansion screw.
Unscrew the back panel, pull it out, and fix it to the wall with screws.
Install the camera into the fixed back plate from top to bottom, and tighten the anti-theft screws.

Please ensure that the WiFi signal is good at the installation place, or there is a network cable that can connect to the external network.

2. Download APP for network matching

download the APP
Scan the following QR code or directly search for “Yi loT” in the Appstore or Google Play.
Download and install.

Note: Passwords should be at least 6 characters long and 30 characters long. And it can’t contain special characters. The suggestion is to use a combination of letters and numbers.

Reset the camera (please refer to point 2 for the reset button) until you hear “beeps” indicating that the machine is waiting for connection.
Open the APP, click “+” in the upper right corner, select “WiFi connection”, and then click “I hear this sound sequence”. Then enter your WiFi password.

Note: 5G WIFI band is not supported. Please make sure that the WIFI connected is 2.4GHz.

Then please hold your mobile phone and point it at the camera lens to scan the code. After the camera responds, it moves on to the next step.

Note: Please move slowly from near to far. Generally, recognition will be faster at a distance of 10-20cm.

After the completion of the camera and APP prompt, give him a warm name, and then can start to use.

Q1: The camera has no network connection or is disconnected.

Check whether the power supply is working normally.
Check whether WiFi signal coverage is in a weak place. If so, use a WIFI signal amplifier or move to a location with good WIFI signal.
Check for metal objects such as iron, copper, or radio signal interference shielding. If so, stay away from them.

Q2: Do I need to buy cloud storage to use it?

It is not mandatory to buy cloud storage. lt can be viewed and used directly.
SD card can be put into the storage device, SD card will cycle recording.
The purchase of cloud storage is just equivalent to putting the function of SD card storage in the cloud. We will provide you with a storage platform, but any of your information will be kept confidential.
