INSTALLATION
Make sure the filter (washer) is in place, then screw the Low-Pressure Tap Timer to the tap with the UNIVERSAL TAP ADAPTOR end, turn it clockwise (hand tightens only). Connect the SNAP-ON HOSE CONNECTION end to your garden hose or system.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Hold the Tap Timer with the BATTERY COMPARTMENT facing you
Remove the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover and the battery tray
- Insert 2 x AAA alkaline batteries
- Insert the battery tray and replace the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover. Ensure the battery compartment stays dry
PROGRAMMING CONTROLS
The Low-Pressure Tap Timer is programmed using three individual controls. The LEFT dial can be turned to select the INTERVAL of watering. This is how frequently you want to water. The RIGHT dial can be turned t select the RUN TIME , this is how long you want the Tap Timer to run for. The ENTER button performs two tasks:
- Press the ENTER button to confirm your selections, activating the watering operation. You must hold the ENTER button for 3 seconds and the LED will flash
- ENTER can be pressed again after confirming INTERVAL and RUN TIME and to move the watering START TIME forwards by 1 hour to delay it Every press adds 1 extra hour to
your start time (optional). The LED will flash every time you press the ENTER button to confirm
The Tap Timer will not run immediately after the program is set. The program will commence after the chosen interval duration has lapsed once.
SET AUTOMATIC WATERING

SET THE WATERING INTERVAL
You can adjust the frequency of watering (INTERVAL) from 1 hour to 7 days.
To select the frequency, turn the INTERVAL dial and select the desired time. -
SET THE WATERING RUN TIME
You can adjust the duration of watering ( RUN TIME ) from 1 to 120 minutes.
To select the duration of watering, turn the RUN TIME dial from OFF to the desired minutes. -
CONFIRM THE WATERING OPERATION
Once you have made your selections, press and hold the ENTER button for 3 seconds until you see the LED light appear solid. This will now have confirmed the watering operation.
AUTOMATIC WATERING DELAY
To set a delay in the START TIME for watering, immediately after
confirming your watering operation, you can press the ENTER button again
to delay the watering by 1 hour.
Each press equals 1 extra hour’s delay. This can be added from 0 – 23 hours
depending on your requirements. Each press will be followed by the LED
flashing once for confirmation.
WATERING EXAMPLE: It’s 12:00 presently and you want to water at 14:00 for 60 minutes and every two days.
- Set the watering INTERVAL to 48 Hours
- Set the watering RUN TIME to 60 minutes
- Press and hold ENTER to confirm watering operation
- Press and hold ENTER twice to add 2 extra hours delay. Each press will be followed by the LED flashing once for confirmation
MANUAL WATERING
OPTION 1: Manual Watering
To start Manual Watering, turn the INTERVAL dial to RESET. Turn the
RUN TIME dial to ON. Turn on your tap and water as needed. To stop
watering, turn your tap off. Turn the RUN TIME dial to OFF, or re-
enter the watering operation.
OPTION 2: Manual Watering (Auto-Stop)
To start Manual Watering with an auto-stop, turn the INTERVAL dial to
RESET. Turn the RUN TIME dial to the desired time you wish to water
for. Turn on your tap, watering will stop once RUN TIME minutes have
lapsed.

Every 4 seconds the LED will flash to confirm the battery is working. If the
LED flashes any quicker, please replace the batteries
