Congratulations! You have just become the owner of the extraordinary Stylies Tukan Fan with State-of-the-Art technology. It will bring you a lot of pleasure when using it and it will improve the air quality of your rooms.
As for all electrical household devices, special caution is required when using this fan in order to avoid injuries, fire and damages to the device itself. Before you use it for the first time, please read through this instruction manual carefully and pay attention to the safety guidelines and instructions printed on the device.

IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES

  1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in the IM are for reference only.
  2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications.
  7. Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to faults on the appliance and injuries to the user.
  8. In the event of improper use or incorrect handling, no liability can be accepted for any damage that may occur.
  9. Do not immerse the unit or mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock! However, if this occurs, remove the mains plug immediately and then have the unit checked by an expert before using it again.
  10. Never remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the mains cable, or with wet hands.
  11. Ensure that the mains cable does not hang over sharp edges or allow it to become trapped.
  12. Keep the appliance away from damp, and protect from splashes.
  13. Keep the appliance away from hot objects (e.g. hotplates) and open flames.
  14. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  15. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance surface.
  16. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
  17. Do not store or operate the appliance in the open air.
  18. Keep the appliance in a dry place, inaccessible to children (in its packaging).
  19. Never put fingers or any other objects through the grilles [fan guards) when the fan is running.
  20. Never operate the appliance without the grilles (fan guards) in place, as serious personal injury may result.
  21. The appliance must be assembled completely before use.
  22. Watch out for long hair! It can be caught in the fan owing to the air turbulence.
  23. Do not point the air flow to the people for a long time.
  24. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
  25. Do not touch the fan blades during operation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

Note: 1-5 are operation buttons; 613 are indicator lights.
This unit has a remote control. One piece of CR2025 battery is to be installed. Please insert the battery to the remote control tightly (Refer to the instruction behind the remote control]. If it is not in use for a long time, please take the battery out of the remote control.
The functions of the remote control buttons are the same as of the touch buttons on the control panel. Please align the remote control to the remote control receiver on the unit the remote control will not work if the receiver is blocked.

STARTING UP/QUICK GUIDE

This appliance can be used as table fan (with the shorter standing shaft) or the stand fan (with the longer standing shaft). Choose your desired standing shaft for table use or stand use.

  1. Insert the standing shaft into the standing base. Rotate the base locking screw (a) to fix the standing shaft firmly with the L screwdriver (b) provided.
  2. Fix the motor unit (c) at the top of the standing shaft
  3. Attach the fan head onto the motor unit
  1. Loosen the screw (d) in the front fan guard (e). Turn the front fan guard in anti-clockwise direction and pull it up to open the fan head. Take out the foam (f). 2) Loosen the guard fastening screw (g) in anti-clockwise direction from the motor um. Fix the rear fan guard (h) onto the motor unit with the hanger (1). Screw back the guard fastening screw. 3) Attach the fan blade (j) onto the motor unit Make sure it fits properly with the clip (k) on the motor shaft. Rotate the blade fastening screw (I) in anti clockwise direction to fix them firmly. 4) Turn the fan head up. Put back the front fan guard and press it down with the rear fan guard by the clips (m) inside. Make sure the screw holes (n) of the two guards are nearby. 5] Turn the front fan guard in clockwise direction and fasten back the screw to secure the front and rear fan guards together.

Tips for changing the standing shaft: press the plastic bar (p) on the standing shaft with one hand and another hand pull up the motor unit.

FIRST USE/OPERATION

Connect the power cord into the socket in the standing base first and then plug into an electrical outlet A beep sound will be heard. The control panel flashes and the appliance is in standby. The digital display shows the current ambient temperature.
Please press the buttons on the remote control or touch the buttons on the control panel to choose your desired function. The related function symbols will illuminate on the control panel. (Please see the section “Remote control and control panel illustration” for reference.)

  1. Stand by function
    Press the standby button to turn on the unit. The unit starts to work under normal mode at speed “01”. Press the standby button again to turn off the unit

  2. Speed function
    Press the speed button to set your desired wind speed. The speed level will be shown as 01/02/03/04/05/06/07/08 from low to high on the digital display.

  3. Rotation function
    Press the rotation button to set your desired oscillation angle from side to side. The control panel will show the angle 90°, 60 cor 30 accordingly.

  4. Mode function
    Press the mode button to set your desired working mode: normal/nature/sleep/ECO.

  1. Under normal mode, the fan is running according to the fixed air volume with no changes. You can press the speed button to set your desired wind speed.
  2. Under nature mode, the fan is running like the wind in the nature. The wind is soft and comfortable, varying occasionally. The digital display shows “A”.
  3. Under sleep mode, the wind speed will gradually decrease to the lowest level from your set speed at normal mode. The highest working speed will be “06”. That means when the unit enters into the sleep mode from normal mode with speed “07” or “08”, the sleep mode will still start working from speed “06”. When the unit enters into the sleep mode from normal mode with speed “01”/”02″/ “03”/”04″/”05″/”06″, then the sleep mode will start working from the current speed level.
  4. Under ECO mode, the wind speed changes automatically according to the ambient temperature. They are correspond as follows. The digital display will show the temperature and wind speed alternately.Temperature (°C)| ≤20| 20<X≤22| 22<X≤24| 24<X≤26| 26<X≤28| 28<X≤30| 30<X≤32| >32

    [The digital display will show “LO” if the temperature is below 18°C; the digital display will show “HI” if the temperature is above 35°C.] Note: The nature mode and the sleep mode have their own working styles and the speed is not adjustable during operation. If you need to get your desired air volume under nature mode or sleep mode, adjust the wind speed level under normal mode beforehand.
    5. Timer function
  5. Press the timer button during running to set your desired shutdown time in lh to 9h (increment by 1h). The digital display will flash and the function will be activated in three seconds with no more setting. The digital display will show the timer value and the value of the mode alternately. Under ECO mode, the digital display will show the timer value, the wind speed and the ambient temperature alternately
  6. Press the timer button during standby status to set your desired starting time in lh to 9h (increment by 1h). The digital display will flash and the function will be activated in three seconds with no more setting. The digital display will show the timer value and the ambient temperature alternately. If you would like to continue to set the wind speed, the mode and the rotation function, you must set immediately during flashing within three seconds.

Function conservation
The operation function will be conserved before shut down and the fan will work in the same function after turned on again from standby status. (But timer function will not be conserved.)

SIMPLE TROUBLESHOOTING

There are several reasons for abnormal sounds when the fan is running:
A. A lot of dust is accumulated on the surface area of the fan blade. Please clean for improvement.
B. The motor shaft is lack of lubricating oil. Please add lubricating oil for improvement
Please contact the distributor or our company to deal with the failure and damage of fan blade and power cord in case of other than the above reasons. Please do not disassemble or repair by yourself.

CLEANING PROCEDURE

  1. Before servicing the fan and after each occasion of use, switch off the appliance and unplug the mains cable from the socket
  2. Never immerse the appliance in water [danger of short-circuit). To clean the appliance, only wipe it down with a damp cloth and dry it carefully. Always take out the mains plug first.
  3. Take care that excessive dust does not build up in the air intake and air outlet grille, and clean it occasionally using a dry brush or vacuum cleaner.

REPAIRS/DISPOSAL

  • Repairs to all electric devices (including replacement of the power cable) may only be performed by authorised experts. Carrying out inappropriate repairs voids the warranty and no liability shall be accepted.
  • If the power cable has become damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an official service partner or a qualified person in order for further damage to be avoided.
  • Never operate the device if the cable or the plug is damaged, if the device has malfunctioned or if the device has been dropped or damaged in any other way (i.e. with cracks or breakages to the casing).
  • Do not use any sharp, abrasive objects or corrosive chemicals.
  • Any old devices must be immediately rendered unusable (unplug power cable) and taken to the appropriate waste collection point.
  • This device must not be disposed of with household refuse. Please dispose of this device at the appropriate waste collection centre. Collecting and recycling electrical and electronic waste saves valuable resources.
  • The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way and ensure that it is taken to a collection centre for recyclable materials.
  • If electrical devices are disposed of in an unregulated way, the effects of weathering can cause hazardous substances to contaminate the groundwater and the food-chain or can result in a burden on flora and fauna for years to come.

TWO-YEAR WARRANTY

For the warranty period of 2 years after the purchase of the appliance, we will repair or replace with a refurbished product (at our option), without any cost to you for either the parts or labor, any machine or part that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE, Coplax DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER IM PLIED WARRANTIES AND ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A ARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PERIOD AFTER THE EXPIRATION. Coplax will, at its sole discretion, repair or exchange a product under warranty. NO credit will be issued. The remedies described above are your sole remedies in the event of any breach of the warranty provided above.
Who is covered:
The original owner of a privately-owned Coplax appliance who can provide a dated proof of purchase in the form of an invoice or receipt is covered. The warranty is not transferable. The original dated proof of purchase (a copy needs to be faxed, e-mailed, mailed) prior to returning the unit. Provide the model number of your appliance and a detailed description (preferably typed) of the problem with the item. Enclose your description in an envelope and tape it directly to the appliance before the box is sealed. Do not write anything on or alter in any way the original box.
What this warranty does not cover:
Parts that normally require replacement, such as demineralization cartridges, «Clean Cube», active carbon filters, water wick filters and any other consumable item that needs regular replacement except for material or workmanship defects.

  • Damage, failure, loss or deterioration due to ordinary wear and tear from abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, faulty installation, placement and operation, improper maintenance, unauthorized repair, exposure to unreasonable temperatures or conditions. This includes damages caused by misusing essential oils or water treatment and cleaning solutions.
  • Damage resulting from inadequate packaging or carrier mishandling of returned products.
  • Misplacement or loss of accessories such as nozzle, fragrance capsule, water tank cap etc.
  • Shipping and transportation costs to and from any place of repair
  • Direct, indirect special or consequential damages of any type, including loss of profits or other economic loss.
  • Transportation damage of a unit shipped from one of our retailers. Please contact them directly.

This Warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by or resulting from failure to conform strictly to Complex specifications in connection with the installation, operation, use, maintenance, or repair of the Complex appliance.
