PARTS & ASSEMBLY
PARTS
Your 12-INCH CONVECTION PIZZA OVEN WITH STONE is fully assembled.
HOW TO OPERATE
Before you begin, wipe the outer housing and inner cavity wall with a damp cloth. Clean the Wire Rack in hot, sudsy water. It is also recommended to heat up the pizza oven empty for approximately 10 minutes. This will burn off a brand new scent. A little smoke may occur, however, but this is normal and will disappear shortly. Place the 12-INCH CONVECTION PIZZA OVEN WITH STONE on a stable surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure that the cord is away from any water source, then plug the appliance into an electrical outlet.
-
Open the oven door and place a pizza on the Wire Rack, then close the oven door. Pizza should be evenly spaced on the Wire Rack so that it toasts evenly.
NOTE: When using the stone, preheat the oven for at least 10 minutes or longer at 450 degrees so the stone is hot when inserting the pizza. -
Rotate the Temperature Gauge clockwise to the desired temperature.
-
After setting the timer, the power indicator light will illuminate.
NOTE : Rotate pizzas 180° halfway through the cycle for even cooking. -
When the timer has expired, the timer bell will ring and the dial will be back to the “0” position. To stop the cycle at any time, simply turn the Timer to the “0” position and the timer bell will ring.
-
Using a hot pad or oven mitt, carefully remove your pizza from the oven.
HELPFUL TIPS
OVERCOOKED / UNDERCOOKED FOODS
For overcooked or undercooked food, the temperature setting, time setting or
Wire Rack may need to be adjusted or repositioned. Also, it is best to prevent
heat loss while cooking and avoid opening the oven door frequently.
Keep in mind that the 12-INCH CONVECTION PIZZA OVEN WITH STONE is smaller than
a regular oven and will heat up faster and generally cook in shorter periods
of time. In addition, frozen foods and thick meat will take longer to cook.
When using the stone, preheat the oven for at least 10 minutes or longer so
the stone is hot when inserting the pizza.
BURNING/SMOKING
A burnt smell coming from your 12-INCH CONVECTION PIZZA OVEN WITH STONE may be
due to food build-up inside the oven. Follow the directions under CLEANING &
MAINTENANCE to clean the oven.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Make sure the unit is unplugged and allow all parts to cool completely before
cleaning. To prolong the life of your 12″ CONVECTION PIZZA OVEN WITH STONE,
please
follow these simple care instructions. Never place the unit in a dishwasher.
Wash the wire rack in hot water. After the stone has cooled completely, scrape
off the cooked food with a stiff, dry brush or plastic scraper, then use a
damp cloth to wipe it clean.
CAUTION : Do not immerse the pizza stone in water.
NOTE : Don’t worry if the stone is stained – it’s natural and won’t
affect the flavor of the next pizza you make.
- Clean exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Dry all parts with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or towel.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners as they may damage the unit.
- DO NOT wipe down the heating elements.
