Aerolink® Bluetooth® Music Receiver
Thank you for purchasing the Aerolink by Fitness Audio. Simple to set-up, easy to use.
SETTING UP
Connecting Power
Plug into DC Input (1) – Depending on your power source- Plug in the AC adapter provided (optional some markets) or use the provided AC ‘Y’ splitter cable (optional some markets) and split from a 12V 1A output adapter- Fitness Audio wireless mic receivers are a good option for splitting from an AC adapter.
Connect Antenna
Connect the included antenna- line of site to the paired device provides the best reception.
Connecting the Aerolink to your Mixer/Sound System
Plug Aerolink into a Music/Aux input on your mixer/sound system- Depending on the available inputs on your mixer, use the provided Dual RCA connector cable provided and match colours from the Aerolink Outputs (2) to Music inputs on your mixer/sound system. We have also provided a balanced Mono 1/4″ Output (3) cable optional) for longer wire runs and for portable systems.
Linking
Power ‘ON’ the Aerolink- Flashing LINK Button (6) is ready for pairing- if it is solid press the button to release from the last pairing. SmartphoneiTablet/Computer Settings – Bluetooth – Look for AEROLINK# – Select the number of the unit you are linking to (if at a location with multiple units)
De-Linking
Press the LINK Button (6)or if the linked device gets out of range of the receiver (beyond 10 meters or 30feet) you will need to re-scan and connect again.
Remote Linking
The Aerolink antenna can be mounted remotely for better reception and for
security purposes – ask your Fitness Audio Dealer for approved shielded
antenna extension options as well as a remote link button configuration for
remote placement options.
If the Aerolink is to be installed in an equipment rack in a media closet,
you can extend the antenna from the rear jack (5). Use a custom made RF
extension cable installed by a knowledgeable technician to the extension
antenna available as an optional extra. The technician can also extend the
pairing button using CATS or 6 cable to a wall plate in the activity room.
Connect it to the green 3 pin Molex connector (4). Use a suitable momentary
LED button like the Reyann 5v LED Illuminated Arcade Push Button mounted in a
blank light switch panel. Our trials indicated that 20 metres was no problem
for the remote pairing to work. The pinouts from the left for the low voltage
pairing button are 1: Switch & LED (Common Positive) 2: Switch 3: LED
Negative.
