INSTALLATION
Make sure the washer is in place, then screw the Tap Timer to the tap. Turn it
clockwise (hand tighten only)
There should be no need to use thread seal tape, as long as the tap seals onto
the washer
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Hold the tap timer with the battery compartment facing you
2. Remove the battery compartment tray
Connect a 9V ALKALINE battery to the battery connector
Insert the connected battery and push in the battery tray
When changing a battery, the timer will hold the current program if you fit the battery within 2 minutes. When changing the battery, make sure the battery compartment stays dry
Use only 9V ALKALINE batteries
SETTING THE CURRENT TIME
- Press until the clock is displayed in the top left corner next to ‘TIME’. This means you are in ‘TIME’ mode
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT and the hour will flash
- Press PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the hour
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT to select the minutes
- Press PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the minutes
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT to select the day (the black box will be flashing)
- Press PLUS-CIRCLE to reach the current day. Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT to save the day
SETTING THE DURATION
‘DURATION’ is the length of time you want the water to run for
- Press until the hour glass is displayed on the left next to ‘DURATION’.This means you are in ‘DURATION’ mode
- The hour display will be flashing, press PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the hour
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT to select the minutes
- Press PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the minutes
SETTING THE WATERING DAYS
‘DAYS’ is where you select what day(s) you want to water on
- Press until the calendar is displayed on the left next to ‘DAYS’. This means your are in ‘DAY’ mode
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT and the black box under ‘M’ will flash
- Press PLUS-CIRCLE to select that day, press Minus-Circle to deselect that day
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT to scroll through the days, press PLUS-CIRCLE if you need to reselect that day
- Press to save the schedule
SETTING THE START TIMES
‘STARTS’ is the time of day you want your watering to begin. You can schedule up to 4 start times per day
- Press until the alarm clock is displayed in the bottom left corner next to ‘STARTS’. This means you are in ‘STARTS’ mode
- Start ‘1’ is the time you want your watering to first begin. Use PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the hour
- Press ARROW-CIRCLE-RIGHT then PLUS-CIRCLE or Minus-Circle to adjust the minutes
- Press to change to the next start time and repeat steps 2 and 3
- To turn a start time ‘OFF’ adjust the ‘HOUR’ until it reads ‘OFF’
MANUAL OPERATION
No ‘MANUAL’ allows you to manually turn on your tap timer and set a watering duration.
This will not effect your automatic schedule.
MANUAL OPERATION CONT
- Press – to begin manual watering. The pre-set time is 10 minutes. This will start automatically unless the duration is changed
- Manually set the duration time using – or –
- Once the watering duration has finished the tap timer will automatically end watering and return to the automatic schedule
SUSPENDING OPERATION
Use this feature when you want to temporarily suspend the automatic schedule. This feature is generally used when it has been raining or during winter.

MANUAL WATERING
OPTION 1: Manual Watering
To start Manual Watering, turn the
‘INTERVAL’ dial to ‘RESET’. Turn the ‘RUN TIME’ dial to ‘ON’. Turn on your tap
and water as needed. To stop watering, turn your tap off. Turn the ‘RUN TIME’
dial to ‘OFF’, or re-enter the watering operation
OPTION 2: Manual Watering (Auto-Stop)
To start Manual Watering with an auto-stop, turn the ‘INTERVAL’ dial to
‘RESET’. Turn the ‘RUN TIME’ dial to the desired time you wish to water for.
Turn on your tap, watering will stop once ‘RUN TIME’ minutes have lapsed

Every 4 seconds the LED will flash to confirm the battery is working. If the LED flashes any quicker, please replace the batteries
