Thank you for purchasing SmallRig’s product.

Warnings

  • Please read this User Manual carefully. Please do not use the product in water.
  • The product contain electronic components, do not let the product fall to the ground, be hit, or suffer a violent impact.
  • Please do not use the product in a completely closed environment. It may increase the internal temperature of the product, which causes product failure, ignition, or other accident.
  • Never remove the non-detachable lithium battery in the product without permission.
  • When the battery of the product is not in use for a long time, please charge and discharge the battery every six months, and provide it with about 60% of the electric quantity to prolong its service life.
  • Since there are some hazardous substances in the battery of the product, please do not discard it. Instead, dispose of the product that is damaged or will never be used according to the waste management measures.
  • When the product is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and clean place. Avoid high temperature, high humidity, and strong magnetic field.

Intended Use

Pairing

Sony Camera with Bluetooth

  1. Turn on the remote

  2. Pairing the unit with the mounted camera.
    Select MENU—Network—【Bluetooth Settings】—【Bluetooth Function】—【On】.
    Select MENU—Network—【Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl】—【On】. Select MENU—Network—【Bluetooth Settings】—【Pairing】.

  3. Press the REC button and C1 button until the indicator light on the right side flashes

  4. When a confirmation message SR-RG1 appears on the camera’s screen, select【OK】.

  5. When pairing is complete【, Paired】appears, select【OK】.

Canon Camera with Bluetooth

  1. Turn on the remote
  2. Set the camera drive mode to【Remote】or【Self-timer:10 sec/remote or 2 sec remote】.
  3. Select MENU—Network—【Bluetooth Settings】—【Bluetooth]—【Enable】.
  4. Select MENU—Network—【WiFi/Bluetooth connection】—【Connect to Wireless Remote】—【Add a device to connect to】.
  5. Press the REC button and C1 button until the indicator light on the right side flashes
  6. When a confirmation message “Paired with SR-RG1”appears on the camera’s screen, select【OK】.
  • Depending on the camera, the setup method for remote control shooting may differ, please refer to the instruction manual for your camera.

Indicator Light

  1. Left Indicator flicker four bars at battery level of 75%~100% flicker three bars at battery level of 50%~75% flicker two bars at battery level of 25%~50% flicker one bars at battery level of 1%~25
  2. Right Indicator
    Constant lighting means Bluetooth is connected successfully, while flickering means Bluetooth is not connected.
