In order to ensure user’s safety and prevent damages to the product due to any Improper use, please carefully read the “Instructions” below and properly keep this Product Manual for future reference.

Foreword

Thank you for purchasing SmallRig’s product. SmallRig Charging Tripod 3108 includes a charging tripod and a wireless charging holder.

Warnings

  • Please read this Product Manual carefully.
  • Please do not use the product in water because it is not dust or waterproof.
  • The charging tripod & wireless charging holder contain electronic originals, do not let the product fall to the ground, be hit, or suffer a violent impact.
  • Please do not use the product in a completely closed environment. It may increase the internal temperature of the charging tripod and the wireless charging holder, which causes product failure, ignition, or other accident.
  • Never remove the non-detachable lithium battery from the charging tripod without permission.
  • When the battery of the charging tripod is not in use for a long time, please charge and discharge the battery every six months, and provide it with about 60% of the electric quantity to prolong its service life.
  • Since there are some hazardous substances in the battery of the charging tripod & wireless charging holder, please do not discard them. Instead, dispose of the product that is damaged or will never be used according to the waste management measures.
  • When the charging tripod & wireless charging holder is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and clean place. Avoid high temperature, high humidity, and a strong magnetic field.
  • When the wireless charging holder is in use, there can be no metal objects between the mobile phone holder and the mobile phone.

Product Description

SmallRig Charging Tripod 3108 is designed for video shooting using smartphones. The charging tripod contains a non-detachable lithium battery, with a battery indicator, and power input or output via USB-C port, providing a longer operating life for mobile phones and other devices. It is equipped with a wireless module to control the start/stop of shooting/recording; The tripod can be unfolded to stand on the table for support, with a load capacity of 3KG and silicone anti-slip pad beneath the feet as well as folded to become a handle with a comfortable grip. Its head swivels 360° and tilts ±90°.

The wireless charging holder features one USB-C port on the side, with 5V/2A power input, and supports 01 wireless charging of smartphones with or without a phone case. It is compatible with devices of width sizes from 62.50 mm to 98.00 mm. The holder comes with one cold shoe mount at one end for microphones or LED lights and one 1 /4″-20 threaded hole at the other for a tripod.

Wireless Control

  • The long-press uses a wireless control button for 3 seconds to enter the wireless pairing mode, then the LED indicator light flashes blue.
  • Turn on your smartphone’s wireless control and select “SmallRig TR02” for pairing.
  • When pairing is complete, the LED indicator light goes off (only pairs one device at one time).
  • Press the REC button to start/stop taking pictures or recording and the LED indicator light blinks Manually switch to the phone shooting or recording mode, press the wireless control button to control the start/pause of shooting, the indicator light flashes during the tapping. No need to pair again after the first successful pairing.

Battery Indicator

  • Press Inc povvei uuiion briefly and the battery life indicator lights up to show remaining battery time.

  • When charging, the corresponding indicator light turns yellow-green. And the indicator light for next-stage battery life flashes yellow-green.

Operation Guide

1. Press the control button CI for 3 seconds to start pairing. 2. When the LED indicator light flashes blue, turn on the smartphone’s wireless control and select “SmallRig TROT’ for pairing. 3. When pairing is complete, the blue LED indicator light goes off. 4. Press the control button (2 to start/stop taking pictures or recording. 5. Short press (0.1-2S) to turn on the power indicator light and boost output, short press twice (within 1S) to turn off the power indicator light and boost output, long press (10S) to reset the entire system (requires charging activation after reset)

Service Warranty

Please keep your original purchase receipt and warranty card, including your purchase date, product serial number, etc., which are required for the warranty service.

After-sale warranty terms

  1. 7 Days DOA Return Policy. Within 7 Days from the package receipt date, return or replacement can be done if the item received is malfunctioning or physically damaged (non-artificial damage), return shipping cost will be on SmallRig’s charge.
  2. 30 Days Free-Reason Return Policy Within 30 Days from the package receipt date, return or replacement can be done if the item is in good condition (without any malfunction or physical damage ). The return shipping cost will be on the customer’s charge.
  3. 1-Year Warranty: Within 1-year from the package receipt date, the defective product (non-artificial damage) is eligible to get repair/replacement for free. The defective product (artificial damage) will be charged for repairing/replacement based on the damage level.

This warranty does not cover

  1. A defect caused by users’ violation of the “Instructions” and “Usage Steps”.
  2. The product identification or SN label is removed or defaced in any way.
  3. The product is serviced or repaired by anyone other than our company or the service agency authorized by our company.
