VGC BHM-78 Wireless Hand Microphone

BHM-78 Fast Operate Manual

  1. This device has built-in GPS + Beidou module, sing le-system or dual system positioning is optional. After connecting the N series device, the screen will display the setting menu of the N device, so that the connected device can be controlled wirelessly. Such as wireless switch, wireless modification of frequency, setting of parameters, control of radio transmiss ion and so on.

Two-Methods pairing operation

The first method:

Connect the wireless hand microphone to your mobile phone.
(At this time, it can be used as a Bluetooth speaker, and the mobile microphone will play songs with the mobile phone and display the song name. If the mobile phone opens the VGC HT APP. it can be used as a wireless mobile microphone of the network channel for network intercom [There is no need to turn on the car at this time equipment].)
① Turn on the pairing switch of the hand microphone peripheral (double-click the side top button or open the peripheral pairing in the menu), the hand microphone indicator will flash red and green alternately and enter the pairing state.
② Open the Bluetooth menu on the mobile phone to search for available devices, and click BE-78 for pairing operation.

③ After the connection and pairing is successful, the display is as follows.

[Disconnect pairing operations are as follows] :

① Click the icon below. Just enter the menu and cancel pairing. (As Figure 4)

Please note that in order to reduce the voice distortion caused by Bluetooth bandwidth occupation, if you are using a network channel, please directly use the Bluetooth hand microphone as a Bluetooth speaker, without binding the network channel to the analog channel. The network channel and the analog channel are used seoaratelv.(As Figure 5)

The second method:

The wireless hand microphone is connected to VGC N series equipment.
(At this time, it is used as a wireless hand microphone with display for N series equipment)
[Tips] It is recommended to upgrade V1GC N series devices to the latest firmware first.

① Turn on the hand microphone pairing switch (double-click the side top button or open the pairing in the menu), the hand microphone indicator will flash red and green alternately, and enter the pairing state.
② Double-click the pairing button of the VGC N series device (such as N7500 mobile radio: double-click the power button, the indicator will flash red and green alternately, and enter the pairing state.)
③ Ensure that the wireless hand microphone and the N series device are in the pairing state. After a while, the pairing will be performed automatically. After the pairing is successful, the current frequency and channel information of the N series will be displayed on the wireless hand microphone.(lf the wireless handheld microphone’s standby display only shows the N series model after the pairing is successful, and cannot display the frequency and walkie- talkie setting menu, please upgrade the VGC N series device to the latest firmware.

Button Function Distribution

① Side top key.
[Double-click]: Start pairing. The indicator light flashes alternately in red and green. You can also directly turn on [Pairing] in the menu to enter the pairing state.[Click]: Turn on or turn off the radio. (Need to connect to VGC N series equipment)

② PTT button.
Press and hold the PTT transmitter button, and then speak in a normal voice.
Release the PPT button to receive the signal.

③ Kl key.
[Click] Next channel (increment).
[Double click] talk around switch.
[Long press] Prohibit radio transmission.

④ K2 key.
[Click] Previous channel (decreasing).
[Double click] T-Call (transmit 1750 signaling).
[Long press] Switch between high, medium and low power.

⑤ Headphone socket.

Keyboard Function Distribution

① Up key.Page up.

② TDown key.Page down

③ MENU menu key.Enter the menu function.

④ P1 function key.In the mobile radio connection mode, press this key to enter frequency editing.

⑤ EXIT Exit/return key.In the menu mode, it is the return key.

⑥ P2 function key.In the standby screen mode, it is the switch screen key. Press this key repeatedly to switch back and forth between the three screen modes.

ICON Function (1)

These functions need to be paired and connected with the VGC N series device first.

① Radio.Represents the normal standby state of the radio

② Beidou/GPS satellites.
On behalf of the Beidou/GPS function.
Beidlou+GPS is turned on by default when it is turned on.

③ Power Output icon.
H high power, M medium power, and L low power

④ Battery power.Battery level display. (The specific battery percentage can be queried by entering [Status] in the menu)

⑤Main band frequency. Display the current frequency of the main segment

⑥ Signal strength meter.
When receiving, display the received signal strength indicator.

⑦ Electronic compass.
Display the electronic compass.

⑧ Channel:The current channel of the current frequency.

⑨ Auxiliary data.
[Speed] The current speed when receiving the stars.
[Altitude] The altitude when the current star is received .
[Temperature] Current tern perature.

⑩ Status bar.After receiving the satellite or connecting the mobile phone, the actual time and date of satellite time service or network time service will oe displayed.

Electronic Compass

① Sensor icon. The”=” icon in the middle of the electronic compass means that it is disturbed by the external environment. You need to enter the menu [Compass] and perform correction operations according to the on-screen instructions. At this time, after entering the menu [Compass], the screen will prompt “Please place the device on a level surface (screen facing up), and then press the [OK] button in the upper left corner of the keyboard .

② Sensor icon .The “8” icon in the middle of the electronic compass means that it is disturbed by the external environment. You need to enter the menu [Compass] and perform correction operations according to the on-screen instructions. At this time, after entering the menu [Compass], the screen will prompt “Please calibrate the sensor according to the figure 8 rotating device”.At this time, please hold the device and stretch it forward, and draw the figure eight (ie “oo”) quickly and forcefully. It is better to complete one to eight characters in about 2 seconds.

Tip: Keep the device away from strong magnets as much as possible, as strong magnets will affect the device’s sensors.
If it is sometimes close to a strong magnet, the screen will prompt an icon, and the icon will be restored immediately after it is far away, and no correction is required at this time . If you find that the electronic compass is unresponsive during use, please enter the menu [Compass] to calibrate the sensor to avoid being misled by the strong external magnetism.

ICON Function (2)

These functions need to be paired and connected with the VGC N series device first.

① Main frequency band.
After the dual watch is turned on, the frequency of the main band is red.

② Sub-frequency band.
After the dual watch is turned on, the sub-band frequency is blue.

③ transmit. Arrow up A means transmitting, and arrow downward v means receiving .

④ Scan. Indicates that the scanning function is turned on

⑤ talk around.It means that the talk around function is turned on.

⑥ Connect the mobile phone.It means that the device is connected to the mobile phone.

⑦ Channel. Channels corresponding to the main band and the sub-band respect ively.

⑧ Signal strength: The received s ignal strength indicator of the receiv ing frequency band.

⑨Auxiliary data.
[Speed] The current speed when receiving the stars.
[Altitude] The altitude when the current star is received.
[Temperature] Current temperature.

⑩ Status bar. After receiving the satellite or connecting the mobile phone, the actual time and date of satellite time service or network time service will be displayed. If the time zone is wrong, please adjust the corresponding time zone in the menu

Edit frequency and memory settings


Refers to the next digit of the cursor.
Press this key to move the cursor to the next digit.


Refers to each choice of receiving and transmitting parameters, that is, selecting the item that needs to beadjusted.
Press Press to move down list.

③ Cursor.
Under the current cursor, you can use the up or down keys to select the specific value you need.

Split screen display

① The user’s name or call sign is displayed in single standby. (Pre-set via APP)

② Display the last contact information received.
Such as the name or call sign of the other party plus location information and location direction. (2,756 m)

③ Display a list of recently received contact information.
Press the key to select he list of information to be viewed.
Press [Enter] key to enter to view the detailed location information and location direction of the other party when communicating.

Note: In the standby mode, please press the [Back] key on the upper right corner of the keyboard to switch back and forth between the above three screens.
