Key function introduction:

  1. + – Key
    • Short Press: Incress or decress Channel

When the speaker microphone is connected to the Bluetooth system of the mobile phone and a call comes in, Short Press the P3 button to answer the call, and Double-Click the P3 button to hang up the call. When you are on a call, Short Press the P3 button to hang up the call.

Please NOTE that this speaker microphone is not an official headset for calls, so when you answer the call, the call sound quality will be poor. Try to use your mobile phone to answer the call.

Pairing Instructions

Pair To The Radio

  1. Long press the key to turn on the microphone, then double click the key to enter pairing state. the indicator light of the microphone flashes red and blue alternately, and a beep sounds to indicate that it has entered the pairing state
  2. Turn on the radio,switch the menu to General Settings-Bluetooth Settings on radios.Select Pairing to enter pairing state.
  3. BHM-79 will be displayed in the list of available devices on radios, select BHM-79 and bind it

Pair On The APP

  1. Press and hold the button to turn on the microphone to be paired, and then double-click the button. The indicator light of the microphone flashes red and blue alternately, and a beep sounds to indicate that it has entered the pairing state.
  2. Open the APP to enter the settings page, click Connection Management, and turn on scanning.
  3. Find the BHM-79 in the scanned list and click BHM-79 to pair.

If pairing is unsuccessful, please repeat the above steps, or the speaker microphone has been mistakenly paired to surrounding radios, please turn off other radio and pair with this device again.

When the pairing is successful, will automatically turn of the pairing state. Observe whether the headset icon is displayed on the display of the radio, or press the PTT button.

The display will display the upward transmitting icon.
After releasing the PTT, the microphone will make a “beep” sound tone.

Upgrade Steps

  1. Open the Bluetooth page of the cell phone and connect the speaker microphone BHM-79 (as shown in the figure 1 below)
  2. Open the APP and press the PTT of BHM-79, Click the three dots in the upper right corner to enter the BHM-79 settings page (Figure 2)
  3. Pop up the upgrade menu to upgrade

Precautions

  1. The effective communication distance of speaker microphones is less than 10 meters. Use beyond the range will cause the speaker microphone to transmit and receive abnormally.
  2. After the wireless microphone is turned on, it will automatically search for the last paired radio. When the paired radio fails to connect, the wireless microphone will automatically turn off after 3 Minutes to save power. If the connection is normal, it will prompt that it is connected and can be used. During use, the paired radio goes offline, and the speaker microphone prompts that the connection has been disconnected.
  3. When the speaker microphone prompts that the battery is low, please charge the speaker microphone in time. Continued use will cause the speaker microphone voltage to be lower than the protection value and shut down. While charging, the indicator light shows red and turns blue when fully charged.
