Thank you for purchasing SmallRig’s product.

Warnings

  • Please read this User Manual carefully.
  • Please do not use the product in water because it is not dust or water proof.
  • The Phone Cage for Videography contain electronic originals, do not let the product fall to the ground, be hit, or suffer a violent impact.
  • The Phone Cage for Videography contains a detachable lithium battery.
  • When the battery of Phone Cage for Videography is not in use for a long time, the battery should be removed to prolong the battery’s service life.
  • Since there are some hazardous substances in the battery of the Phone Cage for Videography, please do not discard it. Instead, dispose of the product that is damaged or will never be used according to the waste management measures.
  • When the Phone Cage for Videography is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and clean place. Avoid high temperature, high humidity, and strong magnetic field.
  • Do not install objects beyond the load-bearing range of the Phone Cage for Videography, otherwise the product may be damaged.
  • Do not disassemble the product without permission.

Please do not disassemble the product or change its battery. If you have any question, please contact the seller to apply after-sales service.

  • Failure to use the product as per this User Manual or under the specified working and storage conditions will be deemed as improper use.

The package include the following items:

Replace Battery

  1. Press down lightly the battery door lock on the side of the wireless control handle.

  2. Pull out the battery door through the groove.

  3. Insert a CR1632 lithium battery (please note that the positive terminal faces towards the wireless control button).

  4. Insert the battery door (please note that the battery door lock faces towards the wireless control button).

  5. Long press the wireless control button and the indicator light is on, then you finish replacing the battery and it can be normally used.

Wireless Remote Control

  1. Long press the wireless control button for 3 seconds to enter the wireless pairing mode, at this time the LED indicator light flashes blue.
  2. Turn on your smartphone’s wireless control and select “SmallRig CG01” for pairing.
  3. When pairing is complete, the LED indicator light turns blue (only pairs one device at one time)
  4. Manually switch to the phone shooting or recording mode, press the wireless control button to start/stop taking pictures or recording.
  5. No need to pair again after the first successful pairing.

Service Warranty

Our company offers one (1) year of warranty service for the buyers.

Important:
Please keep your original receipt and guarantee card. Be sure the dealer has written on it the date of purchase and SN of the product. These are required for warranty service.

This warranty does not cover.
Defect caused by users’ violation of the “Warnings” and “Intended Use”. Cosmetic defects that appear more than fifteen (15) days after the date of purchase. Cosmetic damage caused by improper handling is also excluded. Damage that occurs while the product is being shipped to whoever will service it.

This warranty is void if:
The product identification or SN label is removed or defaced in any way. The product is serviced or repaired by any one other than our company or the service agency authorized by our company.
