Overview
The Tool Master Grow Camera (TC-1) is a high-quality surveillance camera
specifically designed for grow rooms, providing 24-7 live video monitoring of
your grow area.
The TC-1’s built-in night vision has been engineered to use invisible (plant
safe) I R illuminators to prevent disrupting the morphology of the plant
during the dark period. TC-1 features night vision with the ability to see up
to 35ft by using ultra-low infrared emissions that are safe for plants during
the day and night.
TC-1 also utilizes TrolMaster’s free phone app called TM +. Using the TC-1 and
the TM + app provides 3 megapixels of low-latency internet live footage. A
built-in MicroSD card slot is also available for video recording.
Control
Internet Access
The TrolMaster Grow Camera requires an internet connection in order to be able
to view live footage using the TM+ phone app. The connection can be
established with either wired ethernet or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. it will not work with
a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection.
Mobile App
Using TrolMaster’s free smartphone app called TM+ will allow remote control
and monitoring of your grow room anytime. anywhere. Adding the TC-1 camera to
your grow room setup will provide a “window” into your grow room that you can
also access from your phone.
Video Recording
TrolMaster’s Grow Camera also has a built-in micro SD-card slot for video
recording, with compatible storage up to 128GB. (The micro SD-card slot is
located at the top of the camera unit under the water-resistant rubber cap.)
Instructions
Step 1.: Activate the TC-1 by connecting the power, and then make sure to have
a stable internet connection (wired / wireless 2.4g).
Step 2: Make sure your TM+ phone app is in the latest version. (Delete and
reinstall the app if you are not certain) After logging into the phone app,
tap the Hydro-X controller that you would like to monitor with TC-1.
Step 3: Tap “Camera” at the bottom right corner, then tap “Add Device:
Step 4: Scan the QR Code from the sticker on the TC-1. Next, choose to connect
with Ethernet or Wi-Fi at the top right corner before proceeding. (you’ll need
to input your router login if you pick Wi-Fi. Make sure your phone is unmuted,
your Wi-Fi info will encrypt and transform into a sound frequency, make sure
it is loud enough so TC-1 can hear it.)
Step 5: When setup is complete, you’ll hear “connection successful”. Now you
will be able to see live footage on the controller’s main screen.

DO NOT open, attempt to repair or disassemble the camera, as there are no
user-serviceable parts inside. Opening the camera will void the warranty.
