Receiver Mode (RX)
Receiver mode enables your wired headphones/speakers/car radios etc. to function as a Bluetooth device. Simply connect your device using the 3.5mm audio cable/plug, now you can play your favorite music wirelessly from your Bluetooth enabled music players (smartphones, tablets)
- Push the mode switch to receiver mode (push up and shows blue)
- Use audio cable/aux plug to connect the device to a speaker/headphone
- Long press ON/OFF button to power on, blue light flashing once powered on
- Use Bluetooth settings on your phone to pair with HEYDAY BLUETOOTH 01
- Slow Flashing blue – Paired
- Slow Flashing Red – Battery low
- Red – Charging
- Red light off- Charging complete
- Ascending Tones – Powering on
- Descending Tones – Powering off
- Three Rapid Tones – Ready to pair
- Two Rapid High Tones – Paired
- Two Rapid Low Tones – Low battery
Transmitter Mode (TX)
Transmitter mode could wirelessly stream the audio from non-Bluetooth devices (TV, airplane entertainment system, treadmill, music players, etc.) to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Push the mode switch to transmitter mode (push down and shows orange)
- Use an audio cable/aux plug to connect the device to a music player or airplane entertainment system
- Long press ON/OFF button to power on, orange light flashing once powered on
- Turn on the receiving device that needs to be paired and make it enter the Bluetooth pairing state, the device will automatically connect (orange light flashes slowly).
- Slow Flashing orange – Paired
- Slow Flashing Red – Battery low
- Red – Charging
- Red light off- Charging complete
Phone Call Function
- In receiver mode, if the speaker/headset connected with is equipped with a microphone, phone calls would work with the devices paired with your mobile phone
- Phone calls would not work under transmitter mode
Charging
- Full charge requires approximately 2-3 hours
- Charging is complete when the red light is off.
- Plug the micro end of the charging cable into the charge port
- The plug USB end of charging cable into a DC 5V USB power supply
- The device could be charging and working during the same time. If the device is on, the device will stay on when plugged for charging
Troubleshooting and Tips
- If the device are not working correctly, turn them on/off to reset
- If the device won’t turn on, recharge the battery and try again
- If the device won’t charge, make sure the supply works, is 5V >1A, and not damaged
- If the device makes no sound adjust the volume
- If the device makes no sound or do not show as an available device, make sure they are not paired to another device, if so, unpair the device and re-pair the desired device
- This device does not have a pairing code. If prompted for one make sure you are connecting to the correct device. If you are, “forget” the device and re-pair.
NOTE:
Please keep the distance between the connected devices less than 22 feet to ensure working properly
