APPLICATION

Proper Orientation & Sizing

ORIENTATION : The UltraSling® Pro is shipped in a RIGHT configuration. For
LEFT shoulder, remove the arm sling from the cushion. Flip cushion over so contoured
end of pillow is positioned to back of elbow. Center and reattach the arm sling on the cushion.

SIZING FOR SMALLER PATIENTS: The sling envelope is Universal but may be sized down for smaller patients. The Sling length should extend to metacarpal ‘knuckles’ to support arm, wrist and hand. To size down for smaller patients remove the forearm (ii) and thumb (iv) straps from arm sling envelope and set aside. Disengage shoulder strap quick release buckles (iii) (Fig. A) Fold the envelope back into itself allowing the hook squares inside sling to engage on material along inside top edge. (Fig. B)

Remove forearm (ii) and thumb (iv) straps from arm envelope and set aside. Disengage shoulder strap quick release buckles. (iii) (Fig. A)
Position cushion at waist / hip level. Place forearm into arm envelope as far back as possible. Secure forearm strap (ii) and thumb strap (iv). Elbow should be at 90°. (Fig. C)
