HOW TRO USE
BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE
The intended user should be the patient, a licensed medical professional, or
the patient’s caregiver.
The user should be able to read, understand and be physically capable of
performing the directions, warnings and cautions in the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS
The DonJoy LadyStrap is designed to provide support and stabilization of the
lumbar spine and relief of low back pain.
Soft-good/semi-rigid designed to restrict motion through elastic or semi-rigid
construction.
Indications: all indications requiring support and stabilization of the lumbar spine, such as:
- Acute lower back pain
- Back pain prevention, return to activities
- Back sprain
- Muscular weakness
- Lumbar disc diseases (conservative treatment)
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Any known allergies to the medical device materials.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- If you have skin conditions/trauma in the relevant part of the body, the product should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.
- Do not apply on open wounds.
- If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
- The product should be removed during long periods of rest.
- Do not use this device if it is damaged and/or packaging has been opened.
- Handle with care: avoid fastening the strap’s hook closure onto the lace fabric as it may cause damage to the appearance of the product when strap is removed.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Place the lumbar support around the waist, using the hand-loops.
Make sure that the lumbar belt is properly centered over your spine. -
Pull the support forward to adjust the level of compression according to your needs and level of pain.

Fasten the support using the hook and loop closure.

For additional support, use the removable elastic strap with the back pad.
Pull on both edges of the elastic strap until desired level of support and compression is achieved.
Fix them onto the front closure of the lumbar belt using the hook and loop.
It is possible to change the position of the back pad (height-adjustable) to target the area of pain.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Machine washable at gentle cycle (max 30°C) with a mild detergent.
Hook and loop should be closed for washing.
Do not bleach. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry. Do not machine dry. Do not dry
clean. Do not iron.

WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from the date of sale. To the extent the terms of this warranty are inconsistent with local regulations, the provisions of such local regulations will apply.
