Inflating the Bed
- Unroll the bed in a flat, clean area. Make sure the indented side is facing up and the other side is on the floor.
- Open the cord storage holder; plug it into a power source. Turn the knob clockwise to the INFLATE position. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to inflate.
- When the airbed is fully inflated, turn the knob counterclockwise to OFF to shut off the motor. Put the cord back into the cord holder.
Deflating the Bed
- To deflate, make sure nothing is on top of the mattress. Take out the cord and plug it into a power source. Turn the knob counterclockwise to the DEFLATE position.
- When finished, rotate the knob to OFF and put the cable back into the cord holder.
- Open the air valve to let the remaining air out, then roll the bed up for easy storage.
How to Check for and Repair a Leak
- Turn off the pump after the inflation.
- Find the hole by listening for the sound of air being released or looking for bubbles after applying soapy water. Allow the mattress to deflate.
- Carefully clean the repair area and let it dry.
- Cut a round or oval patch and use adhesive to patch the hole. Ensure a complete seal.
- Smooth it out with a heavy object.
- Place a heavy object over the patched area for 24 hours, then inflate and the repair is completed.
