- To avoid damage to the pump, the spa must never be operated unless the spa is filled with water. Immediately leave spa if uncomfortable or sleepy.
To reduce the risk of injury :
-
Lower water temperatures are recommended for young children and when spa use exceeds 10 minutes.
In order to avoid the possibility of hyperthermia (heat stress) occurring it is recommended that the average temperature of spa-pool water should not exceed 40°C (104°F). -
Since excessive water temperatures have a high potential for causing fetal damage during the early months of pregnancy, pregnant or possibly pregnant women should limit spa water temperatures to 38°C (100°F).
-
Before entering a spa or hot tub the user should measure the water temperature with an accurate thermometer since the tolerance of water temperature regulating devices varies.
-
The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.
-
The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia in spas. The causes and symptoms of hyperthermia may be described as follows: Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above the normal body temperature of 37°C (98.6°F). The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting.
The effect of hyperemia includes failure to perceive heat; failure to recognize the need to exit the spa; unawareness of impending hazard; fetal damage in pregnant women; physical inability to exit the spa; and unconsciousness resulting in the danger of drowning. -
Obese persons or persons with a history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before using a spa.
-
Persons using medication should consult a physician before using a spa since some medications may induce drowsiness while other medications may affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
-
Check with a doctor before use if pregnant, diabetic, in poor health, or under medical care.
– People with infectious diseases should not use a spa or hot tub.
– To avoid injury exercise care when entering or exiting the spa or hot tub.
– Water temperature in excess of 40°C (104°F) may be injurious to your health.
– Never use a spa or hot tub alone or allow others to use the spa alone.
– Do not use a spa or hot tub immediately following strenuous exercise.
– Do not put the spa under 0°C (32°F) environment in order to avoid freezing if there is still water in the pool.
– Do not turn on the spa when the water is frozen.
– Never pour water with a temperature higher than 40°C(104°F) into the spa directly.
– Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet before removing, cleaning, servicing or making any adjustment to the product.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Please make sure that all parts are present.
WARNING 1: The floor has to be capable of supporting the expected load.
WARNING 2: An
adequate drainage system has to be provided to deal with overflow water.
IMPORTANT:
Because of the combined weight of the spa tub, water and users, it is
extremely important that the surface on which the spa tub is installed is
smooth, flat, level, and capable of uniformly supporting this weight for the
entire time the spa tub is installed. If the spa tub is placed on a surface
that does not meet these requirements, any damage caused by improper support
will void the warranty. It is the responsibility of the spa tub owner to
ensure the integrity of the site at all times.
a) Indoor installation:
Be aware of special requirements if you install the spa tub indoors.
- The floor must be able to withstand the capacity of the spa tub. The floor should be a non-slip, level surface.
- Proper drainage is essential when the spa tub is installed indoors. If the spa tub is to be located in a purpose-built room, it is recommended that a floor drain be installed.
- Humidity is a natural side effect of spa tub installation. The effects of airborne moisture on exposed wood, paper, etc. in the proposed location should be determined. To minimize these effects it is best to provide plenty of ventilation in the area in question. An architect can help you determine whether more ventilation is needed.
NOTE: Do not install the spa tub on carpet or other material that can be damaged by moisture.
b) Outdoor installation:
- No matter where you install the spa tub, it is important that there is a solid foundation. If you are installing the spa tub outdoors, make sure there are no sharp objects that could damage it and that the location is level so that the spa tub is stable and can be properly inflated.
- Water may spill out of the spa tub during filling, emptying or usage. The spa tub should be installed near a ground drain.
- Do not leave the spa tub’s surface exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Assembly

MAINTAINING
A. Maintaining water quality
- Clean the filter cartridge at least once after 72 to 120 hours of operation. Replace the filter cartridge at least once a month depending on use.
- Change the water every few days, or use appropriate pool chemicals. Consult your local spa tub or pool retailer for more information about chemical maintenance. Pay close attention to the chemicals manufacturer’s instructions. The warranty does not cover spa damage resulting from the misuse of chemicals and mismanagement of spa water.
A. We recommend that you maintain the water PH at between 7.2 and 7.8, while total alkalinity should be between 80 and 120 ppm and free chlorine between 3 to 5 ppm.
B. Purchase a test kit to test the water chemistry each time you use the spa tub, or at least once a week. Low PH will damage the spa tub and pump. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from any chemical imbalance.
C. Water sanitation is the responsibility of the spa tub owner and is achieved through the regular addition of an approved sanitizer. The sanitizer will chemically control bacteria and viruses which are present in the water or are introduced while the spa tub is used.
B. Cleaning the filter cartridge
-
Unplug the spa tub from the socket.
-
Unscrew the filter cartridge.
-
Remove the filter cartridge cover.
-
Rinse off the filter cartridge with a garden hose and reuse it. Replace the filter cartridge if it is still soiled and discolored after cleaning.
-
Refit the filter cartridge cover and the filter cartridge.
C. Drainage
-
Unplug the spa tub from the socket.
-
Insert the plug into the outlet in the inner wall of the spa tub.
-
Open the outlet in the outer wall of the spa tub. Screw on one end of the hose.
-
Pull the plug from the outlet in the inner wall of the spa tub to enable the water to flow out.
-
When the spa tub is empty of water, turn on the bubble function for 2-3 minutes to drain the water in the air pipeline.
-
When the drainage has finished, remove the hose and tighten the nut.
D. Cleaning the spa tub
Detergent residues and dissolved solids from bathing suits and chemicals will
gradually accumulate in the spa tub’s water. Clean the spa tub using soap and
water and then rinse. NB: Do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
REPAIR AND STORAGE
-
Spa tub repair
If the spa tub is torn or punctured, use the repair patch provided. Dry the area to be repaired.
Apply the glue to the repair patch and stick it onto the damaged area. Smoothen the surface to remove any air bubbles. -
Spa tub storage
To extend the life of the spa tub, make sure all water is drained from the spa tub and control box. We recommend the use of a wet/dry vacuum cleaner to extract water from the spa tub pipes and pump lines. Remove the filter cartridge.
Store the spa tub in its original package in a warm and dry place.
Note: Plastic becomes brittle and susceptible to breakage when exposed to sub-zero temperatures. Freezing can severely damage the spa tub. Your warranty may no longer be valid if you do not store your spa tub properly in winter.
