Important Safety Instructions

  1. Read, follow and keep these instructions.
  2. Heed all warnings.
  3. Do not use this apparatus near water.
  4. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  5. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  7. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type
  8. the plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
  9. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  10. Unplug the array during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  12. Protect the PoE injector’s power cord from being walked on or pinched; particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  13. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in fire or electric shock.
  14. This product can interfere with electrical equipment such as tape recorders, TV sets, radios, computers, and microwave ovens if placed in close proximity.
  15. Class 2 wiring IS REQUIRED. Only qualified personnel should wire and install.
  16. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) requires these safety notifications:

Packing List

Verify that you have received all parts associated with each of the components.
Inspect your shipment carefully. If the shipment shows obvious signs of damage, retain original boxes and packing material for inspection by the carrier, and contact them immediately. ClearOne is not responsible for product damage incurred during shipment.

Mounting the Versa Media bar

Four mounting options are available for the Versa Media bar.

A. Balanced on the Top Bezel of the Monitor
Adjust the bracket hinges so the Media bar balances on the top.

B. Mounting Bars
Use thumbscrews to attach the mounting bars to the monitor, and then the Media bar to the mounting bars.

C. Attach Mounting Bars to Mounting Bracket
If the monitor already has a mounting bracket attached, use the thumbscrews and mounting clips to attach the mounting bars to the horizontal bracket. Then use the thumbscrews to attach the Media bar to the mounting bars.

D. Attach to Wall
Use appropriate screws and anchor hardware as needed to securely attach each of the L-shaped wall mount brackets to the wall. Then use thumbscrews to attach each of the Mediabar’s hinged brackets to the wall bracket.

Caution: It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure the Versa Mediabar is firmly secured to the wall. Anchoring hardware appropriate to the wall type must be selected and provided by the installer.

Connect

  1. Use the USB cable to the Mediabar’s USB 3.0 Type B port to your computer’s USB Type-A port.

  2. Connect the AC adapter to the Mediabar’s power port.

  3. Plug the AC adapter into a standard power outlet.
    With the Media bar powered on and connected to your computer, your operating system recognizes and registers the Media bar as a device.

  4. Launch COLLABORATE Space or another video collaboration application and then select the Versa Media bar.

  5. To pair a Bluetooth device with the Versa Mediabar, press and hold the remote control’s Power On/Standby button for 20 seconds.
    The Versa Mediabar appears in Bluetooth devices as realtek_bt.
