FAN HEATER
USER INSTRUCTIONS

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY
- Read all instructions before using the fan heater.
- Only connect the fan heater to a single-phase socket with the main voltage as specified on the rating plate.
- This appliance meets the electromagnetic compatibility requirements specified in EN 55104/95 with regard to interference with radio and TV sets.
- Do not leave your home while the appliance is in function: Ensure that the switch is in OFF (0) position and the thermostat is in minimum position. Always unplug the appliance
- Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains, etc. at least 1 m away from the fan heater.
- If wall-mounted do not fix to combustible material such as wooden, synthetic or plastic surfaces. Do not hang anything on or in front of the fan heater.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug the heater
- Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects.at least 1 m in front and 0.5m behind the heater
- Do not install the heater right below a socket.
- Do not let animals or children touch or play with the fan heater. Pay attention! The air outlet gets hot during operation (more than 80t, or 175 F).
- Do not cover. If covered, there is the risk of overheating.
- Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not use the fan heater in rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable solvents, varnish, or glue.
- If the cord of this appliance is damaged discontinue use of this product and contact the manufacturer for further instructions.
- Keep the fan heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or fire or damage to the heater
INSTALLATION
The appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable
appliance Portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
OPERATION
- Turn the thermostat knob (right) in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maximum setting.
- Summer service (ventilation only): turn the knob to setting .
- Heating at reduced power: turn the knob (right) to setting I (1000K )
- Heating at full power: turn the (right) to setting II (2000139).
- Switching off: turn the knob kW to setting 0.
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat
knob (where included) in an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the
appliance switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will
be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket. Clean the
air inlet/outlet grilles frequently. Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bathtubs, washbasins, swimming pools, etc. Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).
- The heater must be positioned at least 0.5 m from furniture or other objects.
- When the appliance is used in a portable version, do not place it up against walls, furniture, furniture, curtains, etc.
- The appliance must be installed so that the switches and other controls can not be reached by persons using the bathtub or the shower.
- This appliance comes with a Y-type connection. Replacement of the feed cable must be entrusted to only a technician authorized by the manufacturer because such work requires special tools.
- The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a fixed PowerPoint.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4m2 area.
The heater is fitted with a safety device that will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating (eg. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.
This appliance is not intended for use by a person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
