Instructions

  1. When pouring water into the kettle, the water level must be kept within the range of the maximum and minimum water levels set by the scale.
  2. Place the kettle base firmly on the stand, insert the plug into the socket and switch it on. The water will heat up when the indicator light is on. When the water is boiling the switch will bounce up, the indicator light will go out, and the kettle will automatically cut off the electricity.

Notes

  • Always ensure that there is water in the kettle when it is plugged in. Do not release the lid while the water is boiling. The lid must be closed before boiling.
  • If water is found on the table or under the kettle, it is a normal phenomenon due to the condensation of water vapor.

Caution

  1. This kettle should be used with a residual current device (safety switch) to lessen the risk of scalding or another injury from hot water that may be ejected if the
    heating element ruptures.
    Disregard this marking if your home is fitted with a residual current device (safety switch).

  2. Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not operate the kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do not move while the kettle is switched on.

  3. To prevent damage to the appliance, do not use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.

  4. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a bench or touch hot surfaces.

  5. Be sure not to overfill the kettle with water, so as to prevent it from overflowing when the water boils. Always ensure that the cover is in place when water is being heated up.

  6. Do not place the kettle, the stand, the power cord, or the plugin water.

  7. Do not use the appliance if the stand, power cord, or plug of the kettle is damaged. To avoid danger, these things must be replaced by the manufacturer or their maintenance department.

  8. Use caution when pouring water from the kettle as boiling water and steam will scald.

  9. Don’t pour water in or out of the kettle after it is plugged in, and ensure that the switch of the kettle is turned off when moving the stand.

  10. This kettle must only be used with the powerbase provided, and the base should be kept clean and dry. When pouring water in or out of the kettle, always remove the kettle from the stand.

  11. This kettle is only to be used for boiling water. Do not use outdoors.

  12. Please make sure that the voltage used is the same as that indicated for the kettle.

  13. When using the kettle for the first time, please pour the maximum amount of water into the kettle.

  14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Cleaning

  • The plug must be pulled out of the socket and the kettle allowed to cool down before cleaning.
  • First, wipe the exterior of the kettle and the stand with a wet cloth, and then dry them with a dry cloth.
  • Take out the filter and rinse with clean water.
  • Clean the inside of the kettle with a wet cloth, and then rinse clean with water.
