- NOTE : vCenter Server for Windows is not supported.
- NOTE : FluidFS is not supported in DSITV version 5.1 and later.
- NOTE : The Dell Storage Manager Data Collector is required for the Dell Storage vSphere Client Plugin. See the Dell Storage Manager Installation Guide for information about installing the Data Collector.
**New Features and Enhancements in Version 6.1
**
Version 6.1 of the Dell Storage vSphere Client Plugin provides the following new feature:
- Support for Storage Center version 7.5
NOTE : Dell Storage vSphere Client Plugin v6.0 and later only supports the VMware vCenter Server HTML5 web interface.

The following issues have been resolved in this release:

Known Issues
The following is a known issue in this release.
Upgrade is not supported from version 4.x to version 5.x or later
Description
- The DSITV 4.x appliance is a 32–bit architecture, and the DSITV 6.0 appliance is upgraded to 64–bit architecture. Due to the architecture incompatibility, an upgrade from version 4.x to version 5.x or later is not supported.
Workaround
- For Replay Manager Service for VMware (RMSV), you need to migrate data from RMSV version 1.4 to RSMV version 2.0 or later.
- For VSWP, you need to unregister DSITV version 4.1.x, and register DSITV version 5.x or later.
Applies to
- vSphere Web Client Plugin VSWP version 4.1.x, and RMSV version 1.4.
Limitations
Cross-platform replication, which refers to replicating data between PS Series volumes and SC Series volumes, is not supported in DSITV 6.1.
