SolunaTM Roller shades are designed for sustainability. Occasional dusting is still recommended as it will help maintain the beauty of your shade. Here are the proper methods for cleaning Roller Shades.

Product Care Instructions

  • Use a handheld vacuum to remove dust and debris.
  • If necessary, a mild detergent can be used and must be rinsed out thoroughly.
  • Always allow the shade to dry completely in a lowered position before operating.

When cleaning your SolunaTM Roller Shades, use a handheld vacuum to remove any dust and debris. If you need to clean the shades more thoroughly, use a mild detergent and rinse it out thoroughly. Allow the shade to dry completely in a lowered position before operating it again.
Please note that the use of a garment steamer is only recommended for certain roller shade fabrics listed below:

CLEANING INSTRUCTION

  • Dusting:

    • Use a duster to remove any light dust
    • Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment or a handheld vacuum to remove dust and debris
  • Spot cleaning:

    • Roller Fabrics cannot be dampened or spot cleaned. Water will damage the fabric.
    • Solar Screens can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. If necessary, a mild detergent can be used and must be rinsed out thoroughly. Always allow the shade to dry completely in a lowered position before operating.
  • Iron/Steam:

    • Do not iron roller shade fabrics.
    • If wrinkles develop, a garment steamer can be used on the select roller shade fabrics listed below:
