For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
  9. Servicing – Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  10. Replacement parts – When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
  11. The highest environmental temperature suitable for this product is 35°C.
  12. ESD hints – If the product may be reset or not reset to the operation of control due to electrostatic discharge, just switch off and reconnect again, or move the product to another location.
  13. Battery
    a. The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
    b. The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
    c. Battery usage CAUTION-to prevents battery leakage which may result in bodily injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:
  • Install all batteries correctly, + and – as marked on the apparatus.
  • Do not mix batteries (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.)
  • Remove batteries when the unit is not used for a long time.

  10. Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry, or slightly damp cloth.

Power on a clock radio

Insert the AC/DC adaptor to any 230V AC household outlet. Then insert the DC jack to the backside of the unit. The display will light up and be ready to work. Long press(2seconds) power button to power off(display off )/on the radio, short press it to switch play mode between FM/Bluetooth/clock.

Backup battery installation

The radio requires a 1 x CR2025 type battery(not included) to provide backup power for setting memory in the event of a temporary power interruption. Place the unit face down on a flat and soft surface; use a coin to turn the battery cover under anticlockwise direction at the back of the unit; insert one new cell CR2025 battery into the battery compartment by observing the “ +” polarity facing upward; Replace the battery cover and turn to the clockwise direction to lock it. The time and all settings will be kept in case of AC power is interrupted, but the backup battery is available.
Please kindly disposal the power-exhausted battery in environmental friendly way accord to your local government requirements. Make sure a fresh CR2025 battery is used, and a fresh battery could backup the clock continuously for around 3weeks.

Display brightness adjustment/Dimmer: short press the dimmer button repeatedly to switch and select the display brightness between high/low/off levels.
Clock time setting: short press power button repeatedly to enter clock time interface, short press the set button to select 12/24 hours format. Long press(2 seconds) the set button to start the time setting procedure, and the hour digits will flare on display. Press the Previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment in high speed. Short press play/pause button to confirm and skip to the minute setting. Press the Previous/next button to adjust it, then press the play/pause button to finish it.
Alarm setting: s hort press power button repeatedly to enter clock time interface, long press (2 seconds) alarm1 button to start alarm setting procedure, and the hour digits will flare on display, Press previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment in high speed. Short press play/pause button to confirm and skip to the minute setting. By using the same method to finish the rest setting for alarm1’s minute/alarm source/alarm volume(between 15~30 level) selection and press play/pause button to finish it. Then the unit skip to the alarm2 setting directly, which is same operation as alarm1. Short press the alarm button repeatedly to turn on the alarm1, alarm2 or both on display. A relevant alarm icon will show on the right top corner of display, which means the alarm is working now.
The alarm on/off: you need turn on the alarm after finishing the alarm setting. Press the alarm button repeatedly can turn on or off alarm1 and alarm2. Please make sure the relevant alarm icon LED will light on display after your selection.
Alarming and snooze: when unit is sounding due to the alarm time is being, press the power button to cancel the voice, and will wake up again at the same time of next day; if you short press the snooze button, there will activate the snooze function. The alarm will silence temporarily and wake up again after 9 minutes. Long press(2seconds) snooze button can check the remained snooze time on display; Short press the power button can cancel the snooze function. Note:

  1. The unit will exist the clock or alarm setting mode when no key is pressed in approximately 5 seconds.
  2. If your second alarm activates while the first alarm is sounding or it is in snooze mode, the second alarm overrides the first alarm (the first alarm will reset to come on the next day).
  3. The alarm only works when the DC/AC power adaptor is connected. Please double-check the alarm setting in case of the power is interrupted.
  4. The alarm voice duration time is 1 hour. FM radio and buzz is available to select as an alarm source.

Radio operation

Before listening to the radio, please fully extend the antenna and move the unit next to the window in order to get better FM reception. Short press power button repeatedly enter to radio mode; press and hold volume +/ volume – to adjust the output volume level.
All-in-one scan(auto scan and save as preset station): long press(2 seconds) the play/pause button to scan and save the available station automatically, max supported up to 60 preset stations. Short press the previous/next button to select and switch the preset station. The short press play/pause button can mute the sound, press it again to resume the output.
Manual memory station: Short press the set button first, press the previous or next button repeatedly and immediately to tune the available station by step and step under 0.1MHz. In case you tuned the favorite station, short press the set button immediately again, then the current station will be saved automatically. The preset station number will be sequenced accord low to high radio frequency automatically.
Repeat the above operation to manually save other stations.
Remove noise or weak preset station: long-press the set button(2 seconds) can remove the current playing preset station, and the next preset will forward and replace it.

Bluetooth operation

This product includes a Bluetooth function that can wireless playback the music from another Bluetooth device (like a smartphone, tablet,s etc).

  1. Short press the power button repeatedly enters to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth symbol will flare on display which means the unit is ready to pair.
  2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your device, and search the available device (please reference your device manual for operation), then check the available Bluetooth device on the list. Select “ BP CR65” for pairing, and the Bluetooth symbol will be stable on display after being paired successfully.
  3. Select and play the music from your Bluetooth device, press and hold the volume +/- button to adjust the volume level on the radio side, and adjust the volume level on your Bluetooth device; then the sound will wireless play and come out from the speaker.
  4. Press the previous/next button can select last and next track; press the play/pause button can play or pause the playback; Long press (2seconds) the play/pause button can quit the current Bluetooth device connection, but ready to pair the device.

Notices:

  1. All Bluetooth devices are not guaranteed for pairing successfully due to different designs and brands.
  2. The best working distance of Bluetooth is within 10 meters without any obstacle in between.
  3. The unit only can pair and work with one Bluetooth device in one time.
  4. In case of an incoming phone call during Bluetooth playback; the music will stop temporarily, and resume to playback after the ending of the phone call.

Sleep : in audio mode(FM radio or Bluetooth), long press (2seconds) the sleep button repeatedly to switch the sleep time between 5/10/15/30/60/off. Select your desired sleep time and keep it for a while to activate the sleep function. The unit will off and switch to standby mode automatically in case of the sleep time is being. Press and hold the sleep button can check the remained sleep time on display.

Troubleshooting

  1. The speaker cannot turn on.
    a. Please check if the power connection is correct.

  2. No sound output.
    a. Please try to adjust the volume knob, and check the play source.
    b. please contact the service center for support if the issue remained.

  3. Background noise on FM station.
    a.try to move the unit in another place for better reception.
    b. scan and switch to other stations for listening.

  4. Intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode
    a. Please try to move your Bluetooth device more close to the radio.
    b. Please reference the manual for re-pairing.

  5. The sound output is too small in Bluetooth mode.
    a. Please check the volume level your Bluetooth device and radio both.
