1.1 Camera ON/OFF

Camera ON/OFF

Press camera ON/OFF button and hold for 2 seconds to switch on or off the camera function .

1.2 Camera Mode

When Camera function switched on , press camera mode button once to take photo , the voice prompt will remind “Photo” and camera indicator will flash in red light once.

When Camera function switched on , press video mode button lo recording , the voice prompt will remind
“Recording On “and camera indicator will keep flashing . if you need to stop this function just need to press video mode button once again , and voice prompt remind “Recording Off”
“When TF card is full loaded , ii will cover the memory and keep recording .

1.4 WIFI & APP

1.4.2 WIFI Framing

1.4.2.1 Long press the Camera ON/OFF button @I to switch on the Camera function,The camera indicator light will flash blue and red slowly. Wait 3 seconds, short press the camera ON/OFF button @I to switch on the WIFI function,The camera indicator light will flash blue and red quickly.

1.4.2.2 Open smartphone settings , and find “MCAM-XXXXX “(X for headset proprietary Numbers)in your WLAN setting list, click and connect to FX 30c, input WIFI code”12345678”, WIFI connected and blue light on.

1.4.2.3 Open APP and see the vision below:

  1. Click Connect to enter preview . so we can adjust the position to best angle.
  2. After angle confirmed , we can click to start /stop record , also we can click to take photos .
  3. Click  we can enter Album , we can download and delete files here .

1.4.2.4 Settings
Click enter settings , you can set the APP as you want

Settings

Tips: After WIFI connected, angle confirmed and setting done, we suggest to shut down the WIFI function so that the device can work more time.

Camera Function: While the Video function is recording, you can’t take photos at the same time. If you need to take photos, that need to pause the recording first.

1.5 WIFI DATA TRANSIT

When video mode is switched on • connected WIFI with smarlphone , you can download video or photo from your smartphone.
*To save the power , we suggest download file by USB .

1.6 TF Card (not included)

32G TF card supported , can transit data by USB data cable .
Tips: The TF card should be at least Class 10 or even higher version .

1.7 Camera Indicator

Red Light:

  1. Flash one lime when switch on , keep in red light on when stand by.
  2. Flash one time when take photo .
  3. Keep flashing when video mode on , and slop flashing when switch off video mode .

Blue Light:

  1. Flashing when WIFI function switch on .
  2. Keep in blue light when connected with smartphone .
  3. Light off when WIFI switch off.
1.8 Tips

A. Blue and red light flashing at the same time means TF card is full loaded , now can not take photo or record , need to exchange the card or download the files .

B. Blue and red light flashing alternately means there’s error in TF card , now can not take photo or record , need to exchange the TF card .

*The video mode supported 1080FHD ,The TF card should be class 10 or above class 10

Switch On / OFF
Switch On: When device is off, press Intercom button and Function button at the same lime for 3 seconds. Switch Off: When device is on, press Intercom button and Function button at the same time for 3 seconds.

*On initial use, charge the device until the red light turn off.

Cellphone Function

Answering Call: Briefly press the function button once.
Hang up Call: After the call, briefly press the function button once.
Refuse Call: Press and hold the function button for 2 seconds.
Redial: Briefly press the function button twice.
Volume Up: Press “volume+” button while talking.
Volume Down: Press “volume-” button while talking.
Switch manual/automatic answering calls: While in standby, press and hold the intercom button and volume”+””-” button at the same time for 3 seconds.

Music Function

Play: When the device is on, briefly press “volume+” button twice.
Pause: When music is playing, briefly press “volume +” button twice.
Volume Up: When music is playing, briefly press “volume +” button once.
Volume Down: When music is playing, briefly press “volume-” button once.
Play Previous: When music is playing, press and hold “volume +” button for 2 seconds.
Play Next: When music is playing, press and hold “volume-” button for 2 seconds.

Memory Clear

Memory Clear: When the device is on, press “volume +” button and the function button at the same lime for 5 seconds. Then FX 30c will clear its pairing memory with other devices.

Power Detect & Notification Function

Low Power Notification: When the power is lower than 10%, the red light in the function button will flash and a voice message will remind you that he power is lower than 10%. Please recharge immediately.

Power Detect Function: FX 30c has a power detect function. When the device is on, briefly press the “volume-” button and “volume+” button at the same time.

A recorded voice message will tell you:
Power over 90%
Power over 50%
Power lower than 50%
Power lower than 10%. Please recharge immediately

Intercom Function

Switch intercom on: When the device is on, briefly press the intercom button once.
Switch intercom off: When talking, briefly press the intercom button once.
Volume Up: When talking, briefly press “volume +” button once.
Volume Down: When talking, briefly press “volume-” button once.

Voice Command

When your FX 30c is paired with a cellphone, briefly press the “voice command” button once. This will automatical­ly switch on the voice command function {only for iOS).

*Cellphone must be equipped with this function.

3. Device Pairing

3.1 Pair to Bluetooth Devices

3. 1.1 Pairing Mode

When device is on. Long press Function button to enter Pairing Mode. red and blue lights flash quickly. voice message says “pairing”. pairing mode for connection to Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones and Bluetooth GPS.

3.1.2 Search Mode

When device is on. Long press Intercom button to enter Search Mode , red and blue lights flash slowly. voice message says “searching”. Search mode only use for intercom function connection between FX 30c devices.

3.2 Pair to Bluetooth Devices

When the device is on, press and hold the function button.The red and blue lights flash in the function button and the device enters pairing mode.

Switch on your cellphone’s Bluetooth function and select FX 30c.The pairing is complete.A voice message will also say” pairing complete”.
Note: when pairing is complete, please check that both cellphone audio and media audio are chosen. otherwise calls or music cannot be processed.

3.3 Wire Connection

Any device with 3.5mm connector can transmit voice signal to FX 30c.
When the device is wire-connected to FX 30c using a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable, press and hold the “volume +” and “volume-” buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to switch on the connection.
*When wired mode is switched on, it will stay on until you switch off the FX 30c.

4. Group Intercom Mode Pairing (Operating Scenario)

4.1 Operating Scenario 1: One person uses, pair to cellphone+ Bluetooth GPS device + Bluetooth speed detector

*FX 30c paired with GPS. If you don’t switch off the GPS Bluetooth function, it will interfere with the pairing process when pairing to a speed detector: It is best to switch GPS Bluetooth off and once you have paired to the speed detector, switch the Bluetooth back on.

Note: FX 30c can connect 3 Bluetooth devices, but it only support to work with only one of three device,3 Bluetooth devices could not work at same lime.

4.2 Operating Scenario 2: Two-persons intercom, and pairing to cellphone+ Bluetooth GPS + radio

Pairing Procedure:
Step 1: Switch on to search mode (see 3.1.2) and B to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). Once both headsets stop flashing blue and red, they are paired.

Step 2: Switch A to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). The cellphone searches for A and pairs up to it.

Step 3: Keep A in pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). Use Bluetooth GPS Bluetooth to search for A and pair up to it.

Step 4: Use a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm AUX-in cable to connect the radio to FX 30c and switch S-10 to wired connection (see 3.3). AII audio connections are complete.

*Switch on the intercom. Both rider and passenger can hear audio from GPS, speed detector or radio. If the rider gets an incoming call, the device will cut off the intercom. Once the riders call is finished, the device will reconnect automatically.

4.3 Operating Scenario 3: Two-persons intercom, Intercom A using cellphone+ Bluetooth GPS, Intercom B using Bluetooth speed detector.

Pairing Procedure:
Step 1: Switch on A to search mode (see 3.1.2) and B to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). Once both headsets stop flashing blue and red, they are paired. At same time instantly switch on the intercom.
Step 2: Switch on A to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ).The cellphone searches for this FX 30c and pairs up to it.
Step 3: Keep A in pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). Use Bluetooth GPS to search for A and pair up to It.
Step 4: Switch on B to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). Use the Bluetooth speed detector to search for B and pair up to it.

4.4 Multiple Intercom

*The number of devices which the headset can be paired to is 4 x FX 30c {A, B, C, D). With multiple intercom connections, the connection will occupy channels, so only unit A can connect to the other two Bluetooth devices.

The others (B, C, D) can only connect to one Bluetooth device.
FX 30c is equipped with a multiple intercom function for no more than 4 units. The pairing procedure is as follow:

Step 1: Switch on both A and B unit on. Switch on A unit to searching mode (see 3.1.2) and B unit to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ).A and B pair up and the intercom button indicator comes on (blue light).

Step 2: Switch on C unit on. Briefly press A unit’s intercom button. When you see the intercom button indicator go off, switch on B unit to searching mode (see 3.1.2) and C unit to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). After B and C units are paired up, briefly press A unit’s intercom button. Then A, Band C units are paired up.

Step 3: Switch on D unit on. Briefly press B unit’s intercom button, when you see the intercom button indicator go off, switch on C unit to searching mode (see 3.1.2) and D unit to pairing mode (see 3.1.1 ). After C and D units are

Paired up, briefly press B unit’s intercom button. Then A, B, C and D units are paired up.

*Interruption
In multiple intercom mode, if there is an incoming call that causes one unit to disconnect, it will reconnect automatically after the call. If the interruption is caused by distance or a bad signal, press the intercom button to reconnect.

4.5 Multiple Intercom Reconnect Procedure

FX 30c will remember paired units, but to reconnect again after switching off, please follow the procedure:

Step 1: Switch off all 4 units and all Bluetooth devices connected to the headset.

Step 2: Switch on C and D units, press C unit’s intercom button to connect to D unit.

Step 3: Switch on B unit. Press B unit’s intercom button to connect C and D units.

Step 4: Switch on A unit. Press A unit’s intercom button to connect B, C and D units.

When the 4 units are reconnected, switch on the original connected Bluetooth device.

5. Q&A / Warning

5.1 Q &A

Q1 : No sounds from one or two side speakers?
A1: Check device plug. Make sure it is firmly connected.

Q2: Can the bike USB charger be used to recharge while riding?
A21: Not recommended. An unstable power source will cause damage to internal circuit and may be unable to recharge/fully charge/switch on.
A22: Use a power bank instead.

Q3: When using the radio, no transmission or continuous transmission?
A3: Check that the 2.5 mm pin is inserted firmly. If the pin is equipped with waterproof aprons, the user may think it’s already plugged in.

Q4: New device can’t switch on?
A4: Charge for at least 30 minutes before use.

5.2 Warning

5.2.1 Sound Volume Warning
Long periods of listening or having the volume too high may damage your hearing.

5.2.2 Disassembly or Modification
The FX 30c is precisely manufactured at the factory. Any disassembly or modification may damage the device. Do not remove any of the safety regulation or serial number stickers from the device, as that will void the warranty.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in an installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.

6.2 Warranty
In normal use. we offer a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. Any disassembly or modification will void the warranty.

FAQs:

Why are my two speakers or one side speaker unavailable/no sound?

Answer:

  1. Please check if the headphone cable is inserted in the correct direction,
  2. Please make sure the base is fully inserted into the interface.

Why is my microphone unavailable/no sound?

Please note that both the volume of the intercom or the volume of listening to music can be adjusted with the spin button,

if you think the intercom volume is too low, you can Turn clockwise to increase the intercom volume.

Why is the volume of the intercom really low?

Different locations of speakers will cause differences in volume, please install the speaker as close to your ears as possible. If the distance is too far, the volume will be reduced. You can use the thickened pad in the package to achieve it.

How long can video record?

When used as a riding video recorder, the video will be cut to 3 min short videos.

and it will overwrite the memory when the memory is full. (with 32 GB SD Card )
