Product Information

The Nighthawk app is a mobile application that helps you install your router. It also provides additional features such as NETGEAR Armor for device security, Smart Parental Controls, internet pausing, speed test, and more. The router package includes a power adapter, Ethernet cable, USB ports, and LED indicators for power, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi signals.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Download the Nighthawk app on your mobile phone.
  2. Follow the setup instructions provided by the app to install your router.
  3. Secure your devices by tapping the Security tile in the Nighthawk app and exploring the free trial of NETGEAR Armor.
  4. Use the app to access additional features such as Smart Parental Controls, internet pausing, speed test, and more.
  5. If you encounter installation problems, visit netgear.com/routerhelp for more information.
  6. If you already own another NETGEAR router and have used the Nighthawk app before, go to the dashboard and tap > NEW SETUP to install your new router.

Troubleshooting

If you’re having problems with the installation, try the following:

  • Turn off your modem and router and disconnect them. Reboot your modem. Reconnect your router to your modem and try installing with the Nighthawk app again.
  • If you’re still unable to install your router using the Nighthawk app, manually install it using the router web interface. Visit http://www.routerlogin.net to access the router web interface.

If you already own another NETGEAR router and you used the Nighthawk app before, go to the dashboard and tap >  NEW SETUP to install your new router. For more information, visit netgear.om/routerhelp.
