IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device such as a timer or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

This appliance should be used on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Do not place this appliance on a carpet with a deep pile.

Always unplug the appliance after use and before any cleaning or maintenance.

Use of an extension cord with the appliance is not recommended.

HOT SURFACE: Do not touch the hot section or heating components of the appliance.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the heater from its protective packaging and keep for future reference and storage.
- Pass the power cable through the central gate of the base halves and firmly clamp both halves of the base together. Coordinate the heater body onto the base and fix the unit to the under side of the base using the screws provided and a screwdriver.
PLACEMENT
This heater is designed to be placed on a hard, level surface. When positioning, please keep the following points in mind:
- If you are placing the heater in an alcove, make sure that there is at least 150mm of space on all sides to ensure good air circulation
- The heater must not be located over a fixed electrical socket. The socket must always be accessible in order to disconnect the heater from the electrical supply for maintenance.
- Keep hearth rugs and other soft furnishings away from the front of the heater. They could obstruct the free flow of hot air from the fan and damage both soft furnishings and the heater.
SAFETY TIP-OVER SWITCH
The appliance is fitted with a safety tip-over that switches off the appliance automatically if it tilts. This is to prevent the heater from causing damage or fire if accidentally knocked over.

Master switch ON/OFF
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.
- Ensure the master switch on the back of the unit is set to off 11 0 11, plug the power cable into a 220- 240V~AC electrical outlet and turn the master switch on II I “.
- Turn power button ON @) . The unit will display the current room temperature and blow cold air.
- Press @ button to desired temperature.
- When finished using, press power button OFF@. The unit will blow out cool air for 30 seconds before turning off (Blue light illuminates).
THERMOSTAT
- Press to adjust to desired temperature(max 49 degrees), continue to press to reset from 10 – 49 degrees.
- When the air temperature drops 3 degrees below the set temperature, the heater will start heating with 1 000W. Blue light illuminates.
- When the air temperature drops 6 degrees below the set temperature , the heater will start heating with 2000W. Red light illuminates.
- When the air temperature is higher than the set temperature, the heater will blow out cold air.
OSCILLATION
The oscillation function uses a forced-fan circulation to heat as it rotates from side to side, quickly & evenly warming an entire room while maintaining a consistent temperature. Press once for the Tower to oscillate. Press again to stop oscillation.
TIMER
The timer function allows you to set the length of operation from 1 hour to 24 hours. Each press of the timer button increases the length of operation by 1 hour. Once the timer has been set the timer will count down the hours in 1 hour periods, showing on the display the remaining operating time until the heater turns itself off. Pressing the timer button once more after the display reflects 24 hours will reset the heater to continuous running.
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
The remote control uses a lithium battery CR2025 3V
ON/OFF: Power button
FLAMES: Flames display function
MODE: 3 settings for selection: Cool, Warm, Hot.
TIMER: To set timer from 1-24 hours
OSCILLATION: Oscillation function for heater
CANCEL: Turn off the light of heater. Sleep mode
UP: To increase temperature
DOWN: To decrease temperature
THERMAL CUT-OUT DEVICE
This appliance is fitted with a thermal safety cut-out device built in to
prevent it from overheating. Should the Electric Fire start to overheat, the
thermal safety cut-out system will automatically operate and the Fire will
switch off. If this happens: Turn off the electric fire using the on/off
switch. Unplug the fire from the mains supply and allow it to cool for
approximately 15 minutes. Clear any blockages on any vents, being careful not
to damage the Fire. Plug back into the mains supply and switch on.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-
out, this Fan Heater must not be supplied through an external switching device
such as a timer or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and
off by the device.
CLEANING AND CARE
- Before cleaning, always remove the plug from the electrical socket. Ensure that the unit is cool enough to work on.
- Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean this appliance. Do not use abrasive cloths or polishes.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean this product and avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do not immerse in water or any liquid when you clean it.
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
(Fixed Mains Plug Only)
The mains lead supplied with this product is fitted with a BS1363/A 13 amp
plug. If it is not suitable for your supply sockets it must be replaced with
an appropriate plug. If the plug becomes damaged and/or needs to be replaced
please follow the wiring instructions on the next page. The plug removed must
be disposed of immediately. It must not be plugged into a supply socket as
this will be an electrical hazard. If the fuse needs to be replaced it must be
of the same rating and ASTA approved to BS 1362. If the plug is changed, a
fuse of the appropriate rating must be fitted in the plug, adapter or at the
distribution board. If the fuse in a moulded plug is replaced, the fuse cover
must be refitted before the application can be used.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The supply cable will be either 2-core or 3-core. Follow the appropriate wiring instructions shown. In both cases ensure that the outer sheath of the cable is held firmly in place by the cable clamp.
(Power adapters only)
Never open the power adapter, you risk getting an electric shock. Only use the
power adapter that is supplied with your product. You must always connect the
power adapter to the product before connecting to the mains power supply. The
power adapter must be used indoors only, and must not be subjected to damp
conditions. The power adapter does not have any user-serviceable parts.

WARNING: Do not connect either wire to the earth terminal.
- This symbol indicates that this 2-core appliance is Class II and does not require an earth connection.
- The wire coloured blue must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N or coloured black.
- The wire coloured brown must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured red.
3 CORE PLUG
WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.
- The wire coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter E, or by the earth symbol, or coloured green or green and yellow.
- The wire coloured blue must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N or coloured black.
- The wire coloured brown must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured red.
