Introduction

Moving coil unidirectional dynamic elements reproduce audio without interference from stage speakers or instruments by capturing source signals such as guitar amplifier or vocalist while avoiding off-axis sound and background noise. This microphone is perfect for live voice applications and for recording amplified instruments since it has high gain before feedback, is sturdy and moisture-resistant, and provides the best clarity and punch. This Pyle Pro wired microphone offers a 50Hz–15KHz frequency response, a pop filter to reduce breath and pop noises, built-in low noise circuitry for beautiful and transparent sound, and a pop filter.

An XLR to 1/4″ audio connecting cable of professional standard is included with the corded microphone. Perfect for on-stage voice performances, professional studios, and home karaoke anytime, anyplace. For ultimate dependability, this handheld mic has a steel mesh grill and a sturdy construction. The ideal all-purpose, adaptable stage and recording microphone for live performances and studio use.

HOW TO USE

An audio interface must be plugged into your computer before an XLR cable from your dynamic microphone can be used to link the two devices. Then, change the input to the audio interface in your computer’s settings.

HOW TO TURN ON/OFF

  • Move the slider upwards to Power On the microphone.
  • Similarly, move the slider downwards to Power Off the microphone.

HOW TO CHOOSE A DYNAMIC MICROPHONE

A suitable option for a vocal mic would be one with a frequency response range of roughly 80 Hz to 15 kHz. However, you should opt for a range that begins lower, at about 50 Hz, when miking snares and toms, and for a bass drum mic, you should aim for a low end of 40 Hz or even lower, down to 30 Hz.

HOW TO INCREASE DYNAMIC MIC VOLUME

The most effective technique to improve the signal from a dynamic microphone is to use a microphone preamp. There is a noiseless volume rise for the microphone output when certain mic preamps are able to enhance the gain of the signal without adding more noise to the signal.

HOW TO CONNECT

Plug one end of the XLR connecting cable into the mic and the other end into the device you wish to connect. Just plug and play.

FAQs

are these wireless?****

No, this one is not wireless. NAXA sells a wireless mic, but its clarity isn’t very good. Still, if you’re looking for a wireless mic for home use, I bought the NAXA through Amazon for around $6, and that price can’t be beat.

Can it plug into an amp?****

Another answer says this is “a simple condenser mic.” I think that’s wrong. The product description says it’s a “dynamic” mic which is entirely different from a condenser. Also, be careful NOT to plug this into an amp that provides “phantom power” for condenser mics … the voltage (usually 12 – 48 volts DC) will probably blow out this mic.

Do I have to buy a separate cord and will it work if I plug it into my speakers?****

Mango, I use mine in a Bingo hall and they have sufficient clarity for all to understand. They must be connected by wire to some sort of an amplifier before going to the speakers. XRL cables are certainly cheap enough.

does it need phantom power****

Let’s put it THIS way. Phantom power (12 to 48 volts DC) is used with condenser mics. This is a dynamic mic, entirely different from condenser mics. If you connect this mic to phantom power, you will likely blow out the mic.

Where can I plug this microphone into?****

depending on the type of use. for computer you need 1/4 inch female to 3.5mm male adapter.– for amp you will need 1/4 inch female phono jack to RCA male, plus a preamp for mic. (microphones have very low output). but will work with guitar amplifiers without any modifications. I have two of these Pyle mics, nice mics great price.

Will this work on any Pyle boombox****

It will work on anything that has thar connector.

I’m just starting to DJ for family event Barbeque & House parties, I need something for announcement purpose would this be ok?****

this mic is great, it has a very crisp and clean sound. I think it would be perfect for announcements also the detachable wire makes it easy to store.

Can you hook it up to the computer using a female to USB connector?****

There is no such thing as a “female to USB connector.” “Connector” implies a plastic or metal shell with connecting pins inside. You cannot just “connect” from an analog audio signal to a digital USB signal. HOWEVER, there is such a thing as an “analog to USB CONVERTER.” That has electronics that convert the analog (mic) signal to digital. That should work with this mic.

Is this mic’s cable a regular size XLR to 1/4 or mini XLR to 1/4? I have this mic and am looking to get another cable for it****

Yeah, you can get an XLR standard Mic cable. The cables that come with these mics are very handy; XLR to 1/4″.

Does It come with a stand****

No.

Does this work on computer****

It should but you’ll need the cable that well connect to the mic and to your computer’s input.

Is it metal as advertised or plastic?****

Both. but mainly plastic. You get what you pay for.

does it sound clear****

Absolutely! Good quality sound.

does it come with a cord and what type ?****

Comes with 8′ cord 1/4″ jack, but cord can be disconnected from mic base via standard midi type plug. So can support alternate cable types. In short… MIDI jack from mic to mic cable, then 1/4″ standard output/input at other end… 8′ long.

Is it worth it to get this for a 7 year old who loves to sing?****

ABSOLUTELY. The microphone is light weight and sound is effective. Sizing is just like a stage microphone.
