FAQs
Does this work with 220V / 240V?****
really like it…stays charged and works okay.
Has anyone had problems with the microphone pickup on this unit? We can’t get sound unless our mouth is touching the microphone?****
May be you could try to tune Mic volume. But yes either your voice should be little louder, or you really should be very close to the microphone(if not touching it). I bought that for personal/family use hence not much bother about that, but for larger audience or kind of semiprofessional use, may be that is not a perfect machine.
Is this unit a true white, or is it off-white?****
True white.
Can I play music at the same time I am using a wireless microphone for fitness classes?****
Difficult to control volume on music & mic when using at the same time. There was also some distortion in the mic. I used it at a party around a pool but no one was swimming.
Does this unit have a FM radio and can it be carried in your check-in luggage on a plane.****
It does have FM radio and an ant. I do not know if you can carry it on the plane, It is small enough to fit in a bag, but I don’t know if they allow it. But this thing is amazing, great sound.
I have 2 questions: Can two of these be used at the same time with one microphone? Can a hands free microphone be added?****
You cannot use 2 of the same speakers and used just one microphone. You might
experience some sound cut outs and interference due to same frequency level.
Yes, you can connect a wireless lavalier headset mic to this unit but it
should have a separate receiver that can be plugged in to the mic input port.
Also, make sure that the frequency are not the same as the wireless handheld
microphones.
Can the speaker be linked to an iPhone?****
I do not think so. I have not seen any iPhone cables that would connect them.
Does the speaker have a lithium ion battery that is allowed to be boarded on a plane?****
the unit has a built-in lithium-ion battery.
Can I connect my bluetooth headphone/microphone that I use with my cellular phone to connect and broadcast to the bluetooth version of this product?****
You possibly could. I have the non-bluetooth version, but I use the following adapter if I need bluetooth connection. The adapter gives me the flexibility to connect to any other device and that’s the reason I did not get the Pyle bluetooth version.
Does it work as a speaker for a regular radio?****
No longer own it. don’t know. Should pick up any sound if loud enough for microphone.
