Installation & Operating Instructions
- Place pump on horizontal surface or hang it by means of the hook.
- Open mattress on the bed. Secure it with end flaps or straps.
- Connect air feed tubes to air outlet on the mattress and pump, ensuring that the tubes are not “kinked” or twisted. Allow space for bed rails to drop freely.
- Turn on the power. After a beep sound, the pump will begin the operation.
- The pump will enter static mode initially when the power is turned on. The cycle time is set at the V’ LED (10 min.), and the pressure level is set at the 3’d LED (30±2mmHg). First it will inflate the mattress to 10-15±2 mmHg and then enter alternate mode.
- During normal operation, the pump will monitor pressure changes. If the pressure is below a user-defined pressure level, the pump will automatically start to inflate the mattress. The pump will stop when the user-defined pressure level is reached.
- The first inflation of new mattress: the alarm function (visible and audible alarm) will activate if mattress is not inflated completely within 40 minutes.
- During pump is running, low pressure alarm will activate within 1 minute after air tubes are disconnected or air cells are broken.
- If there should be power failure, for example caused by power cord unplugged or power off when pump is working, the audible alarm will be activated and power failure indicator will flash. When power is back, pump will automatically start working, do not need to press power button on the panel again.
- If the mattress stops alternating or alternate abnormally, the audible alarm will be activated and the alternate failure indicator will flash.
- For nursing and caring convenience, press the max firm button to automatically inflate the mattresses to the maximum level (65mmHg) for about 20 minutes. The pressure will return to alternate mode after 20 minutes.
