KB02026 Bluetooth Keyboard
Product Overview
Power ON/OFF KB02026
Power ON: Toggle the switch to ON. The indicator 1 will flash in red and
then go off in 5 seconds, which indicates the keyboard is on.
Power OFF: Toggle the switch to OFF to power off the keyboard.
Status of Indicator 1 | Meaning |

To pair the KB02026 with a Surface Pro
Step 1: Toggle the switch to ON. The indicator 1 will flash in red and then go
off in 5 seconds, which indicates the keyboard is power on.
Step 2: Press the simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator 3 will flash
blue, which indicates the keyboard is under pairing mode.
Step 3: On the Surface Pro, select All Settings – Devices – Add Bluetooth or
Other Device – Bluetooth. The Surface Pro will display “inateck KB02026” as an
available device. Step 4: Select “inateck KB02026” on Surface Pro.
Step 5: The Bluetooth indicator goes off, which means the keyboard has been
paired with Surface Pro successfully.
Note:

After a successful pairing, the Bluetooth keyboard will pair the surface pro automatically next time. However, when interference occurs or the Bluetooth signal on Surface pro is unstable, the automatic pairing might fail. In that case, please do as the following.
A. Delete all Bluetooth pairing record related to KB02026 on your Surface Pro.
B. Turn off Bluetooth on your Surface Pro.
C. Follow steps under “To pair KB02026 with a Surface Pro” to connect. -
How to Restore Factory Mode for KB02026.
Press ESC+ simultaneously. -
Touch on the touchpad cannot wake up the keyboard in sleep mode.To wake it up, press one of the keys please.
How to Adjust the Keyboard Backlight
- Press simultaneously to adjust the color of the backlight. There are 7 colors available in total.
- Press simultaneously to adjust the brightness of the backlight. Three levels of brightness are at choice.
NOTE:
- When the battery level is lower than 12%, the backlight turns off automatically.
- The backlight is not available unless the keyboard is paired with a Surface pro.
- The backlight will go off automatically if the keyboard is left idle for two minutes. You can wake it up by pressing a single key.
How to Use the Function Keys

How to Use F1-F12
You may press the keys to lock the FN key. A repeated operation can unlock the FN key. (The keyboard disables the FN key lock by default. )
FN Lock enabled:
Press to enable the Fn lock, When the FN lock is enabled, press can trigger the functionality owned by Fl key, while press the combination of will dim the brightness of the screen.
This method applies to all F Keys (Fl-F12).
Disable the FN lock (Default Status):
Press the combination can disable the FN lock. When the FN key is unlocked, press the key to dim the brightness of the screen. Press the simultaneously to use the functionality owned by Fl key. -
The combination of Fn and other keys:
Press the simultaneously to turn ON/OFF the touchpad of the keyboard. The touchpad keyboard is on by default.

To Check Battery Status
Press simultaneously to check the battery level.

Charging
When the battery is low, indicator will flash in red. If all indicators are
off, it means the battery is completely drained. Under both situations, the
keyboard should be recharged. The required voltage for charging is 5V with
current under 250mA. A current control chip is set inside the keyboard for
overcurrent protection. You can recharge the keyboard by using an ordinary
phone charger or on the USB port of a computer that regularly
outputs voltage at 5V.The keyboard can be fully recharged in approximately 4-5
hours. Indicator keeps red when the keyboard is being recharged. The battery
indicator will turn green when the keyboard is fully recharged.
Note: You can use the keyboard while it is being recharged.
Sleeping Mode
The keyboard will enter sleep mode automatically if there is no operation for half an hour. Wake it up by pressing one of the keys. Under the sleep mode, Bluetooth will disconnect, and you can reconnect it by pressing a single key.
