Safety instructions
Perfect technology: Prerequisite for your safety High-quality materials and
excellent workmanship ensure that Porsche Classic Communication Management has
a long service life. Porsche Classic Communication Management needs your
attention and care to ful l its potential. This will ensure that Porsche
Classic Communication Management can be relied upon even in critical
situations.
Porsche Classic Communication Management is the central control unit for the
radio,media functions,Phone,navigation,sound settings and Car. The following
points must be observed to ensure that you do not endanger or harm yourself or
others when using Porsche Classic Communication Management:
WARNUNG Risk of accident Any distraction may cause control of the vehicle to
be lost.
Only operate Porsche Classic Communication Management when the vehicle is
safely under control and the tra c situation permits. If in doubt,stop the
vehicle and operate Porsche Classic Communication whilst stationary.
WARNUNG Risk of accident The navigation system only provides the driver with
support and suggests a route.
This does not release the driver from the full responsibility for correct
driving style and behaviour in road tra c in accordance with the rules of the
German Road Tra c Regulations (StVO) and other relevant regulations. The
driver is responsible for assessing the tra c situation. The driver retains
sole responsibility for driving the vehicle safely.
Remain aware of the tra c situation.
WARNUNG Risk of injury Do not use the telephone close to explosive substances
(e.g. at a petrol station) or close to explosives. In certain hazardous areas,
such as close to petrol stations, fuel depots, chemical plants and blasting
operations, mobile phones must be switched o . Their use could interfere with
technical equipment.
Observe relevant instructions.
Observe legal regulations and local restrictions when using the telephone.

The Porsche Classic Communication Management
contains high-quality electronic components whose maintenance and care
requires special attention.
The following points should be noted: The screen is susceptible to scratches.
The device must not be splashed with liquids. The ingress of liquids may
destroy the device. Clean your Porsche Classic Communication Management
carefully from time to time with a dry, clean and so cloth (micro bre cloth)
or a cleaning brush. Do not exert excessive pressure on the surface when
cleaning. Never use solvents such as methylated spirits, thinners, petrol,
acetone or alcohol (ethanol, methanol or isopropyl alcohol) or abrasives.
Remove ngerprints with a damp cloth or mild detergent. Never spray detergents
or other liquids directly onto the screen. Instead, moisten a cloth and gently
wipe the screen. In the event of a malfunction never open the Porsche Classic
Communication Management device yourself! In the event of a fault have the
device repaired at a quali ed specialist workshop.
We recommend that a Porsche Partner is used for this work as they have trained
workshop personnel and the necessary parts and tools.

Controls and their functions
A–Microphone
The built-in microphone is used to make a telephone call with the Bluetooth
hands-free kit.
B–Sensor for switching between day/night settings
The day/night sensor enables the device to detect the current ambient lighting
level and adjust the display brightness accordingly
C–Le knob Button
Turn the le knob —> to adjust the volume Short press the le knob —> to
activate or deactivate the mute function Long press the le knob —> Quickly
power o , then short press to power on,and memorize the radio broadcast
D–HOME button and Voice recognition Button
Short press the HOME button to enter the navigation main menu and access the
following functions: Tuner, media, phone, navigation, map, sound, settings,

Basic functions
Communication Management on and o
Switching on/o via the ignition Switch on the ignition. Porsche Classic
Communication Management is active.
Switching on/o via the le -hand knob If you do not wish the Porsche Classic
Communication Management to be permanently active, you can also switch it on/
using the le -hand knob.
Press the le knob for at least one second.
Adjusting the volume Turn the le knob . Depending on situation, you can change
the volume as follows: — the active audio source, — a tra c announcement, — an
announcement by the navigation, — the telephone ringing tone during an
incoming call, — making a hands free telephone call.
Mute/Cancel muting Brie y press the le knob.The active audio source is muted
To cancel muting brie y press or turn the le knob.

Muting is also used to cancel incoming tra c announcements (TA)
Selecting the operating mode
The various Porsche Classic Communication Management modes are selected by
pressing the HOME; TUNER; MEDIA; PHONE and NAV buttons.
Menu types and operation options
The Porsche Classic Communication Management screen is a colour touch screen.
All of the menu functions, list entries and input menus, as well as the arrow
symbols and scroll bars are operated by lightly touching the respective part
of the screen.
Which menus are available?
The HOME Menu
The functional range of Porsche Classic Communication Management is divided
into the following main menus via the HOME menu: –TUNER (button in the HOME
menu or the button): Radio main menu –MEDIA (button in the HOME menu or the
button): Media main menu, –PHONE (button in the HOME menu or the button):
Telephone, main menu –NAV (button in the HOME menu or the button): Navigation
main menu, –Map (button in the HOME menu): map view –Sound (button in the HOME
menu): Sound settings, –Car (button in the HOME menu): General device
settings, –App (button in the HOME menu): Android-Auto® or AppleCarplay® mode.
In many of these main menus various sub menus are combined to form a single
topic.
Jump back to the HOME menu Press the [ HOME ] key to return to the HOME Menu.
Options menus There is an options menu [ Options ] for some of the main menus
where you will nd setting options and further functions for that particular
main menu.
Calling up and operating menu types Call up main menus To call up a main menu,
press the corresponding key on the Porsche Classic Communication Management or
select the corresponding button via the menu [ HOME ] on the touchscreen. You
can change from one main menu to another menu at any time. To return to the
top level of a main menu, use the [ BACK ] button until you return to the top
level of the main menu.
Call up options menus To access an Options menu, select the [ Options ] button
in the main menu on the touch screen.
Operating menus with the touchscreen Touch the individual menu items or
buttons directly on the screen.
Operating menus with the right-hand knob As an alternative to operating via
the touchscreen operation, the menu items can also be operated using the
right-hand knob
Highlight a menu item by turning the right-hand knob

Exit menus Jump back to the next higher menu Press the [BACK ] button to
cancel an operation and go to the next higher menu
Jump back to main menu Press a main menu button to return to the corresponding
main menu.
Return to the top level of a main menu Press the [ BACK ] button several times
to reach the top level of the main menu. Alternatively, press the
corresponding key on the Porsche Classic Communication Management or select
the corresponding button in the menu [ HOME ] via the touchscreen.
Operating lists The following options are available for highlighting a menu
item:
Turning the right knob A highlighted menu item is indicated by an orange
frame. Press the right-hand knob or Select a menu entry via the
touchscreen: Con rm the selection.
Operating the input menus In some cases data can be entered into Porsche
Classic Communication Management. For example, when entering a telephone
number.
To enter data in an input menu touch the characters on the screen. or
Mark the characters by turning the right-hand knob and select them by pressing
the righthand knob To con rm and accept the data entered so far, select the
corresponding button, e.g. in the menu.
The input menus include some buttons in addition to numbers.
deletes the last entry in the input eld. switches to digits and special
characters switches to extended special characters switches to
letters/switches to Cyrillic alphabet (only if Russian is selected as menu

Sound settings Sound
The sound settings in the [ Sound ] menu are used to set the sound of your
Porsche Classic Communication Management for the audio sources as follows:
Equalizer Settings
1. Press [ Sound ] button.
2. Select menu item [ Equalizer ].
3. Touch [ + ]and [ – ]or turn the knob on the right to select the desired
setting: –Bass adjustment range: -5~+5; –Treble adjustment range: -5~+5
Switch Loudness on/o As the human ear is most sensitive at medium frequencies
it makes sense to use this function at low volume where the system increases
high and low frequencies this results in better audibility.
1. Press [ Sound ] button.
2. Check box [ Loudness ] activate or deactivate.
Set Fader The fader setting is used to adjust the volume level distribution
between the rear and front speakers.
1. Press [ Sound ] button.
2. Select menu item [ Fader ].
3. Touch [ + ]and [ – ]or turn the knob on the right to select the desired
setting.
Adjust Balance The balance setting is used to adjust the volume level
distribution between the le± and right speakers.
1. Press [ Sound ] button. 2. Select menu item [ Balance ]. 3. Touch [ + ]and
[ – ]or turn the knob on the
right to select the desired setting.
Speed dependent volume 1. Press [ Sound ] button. 2. Select menu item [ Speed
dependentvolume ]. 3. Touch [ + ]and [ – ]or turn the knob on the right to
select the desired setting.
Audio Pilot 1. Press [ Sound ] button. 2. Check box [ Audio Pilot ] activate
or deactivate.
Reset sound settings Reset sound settings is used to delete all sound settings
and reset them to default values.
1. Press [ Sound ] button.
2. Select menu item [ Reset sound settings ].
3. Select the [ Reset ] button.

To adjust the volume of di erent audio sources separately (for example
navigation, radio or Media), select the menu item Volume in the Settings menu.

Click [ Car ] on the homepage to enter the Personal trip interface, click [
Set ] and select [ System ] to enter the system settings interface. In the
system settings menu can be adjusted for the following areas: –Date/time –Time
synchronising –Standby time –Day/night mode –Language –Units –Volume –Version
info –Factory reset.
Date/time
1. Touch the [ Date/time ] enter the settings interface.
2. Select menu item [ Settings time ].
3. Use the [ ][ ] to set the desired time.
4. Select menu item [ Settings date ].
5. Use the [ ][ ] to set the desired date.
6. Tap [Time format] to choose 12 or24 hourformat.
Time synchronising
1. Touch the [ Time synchronising ] enter the settings interface.
2. Synchronize time menu item: [ RDS ] or –[ GPS ] or –[ Manual ].
Standby time
1. Touch the [ Standby time ] enter the settings interface.
2. Standby time choose between –[ 5 minutes ] or –[ 15 minutes ] or –[
30 minutes ] or –[ O ].
Day/night mode
1. Touch the [ Day/night mode ] enter the settings interface.
2. Day/night mode choose between –[ Auto ] or –[ Custom ].
3. Select [ Custom ] to adjust the dayand nightview.
4. Select [ Day mode ] and use [ + ] and [ – ] or turn the control knob on
the right to adjust the display brightness of the day view. –Day mode
adjustment range: -12~+12;
5. Select [ Night mode ] and use [ + ] and [ – ] or turn the control knob on
the right to adjust the display brightness of the night view. –Night mode
adjustment range: -12~+12;
Language
1. Touch the [ Language ] enter the settings interface.
2. Language menu item: –[ Deutsch ] or –[ English ] or –[ Espaöol ]
or –[ Franqais ] or –[ Italiano ] 21

1. Touch the [ Units ] enter the settings interface. 2. Select menu item [
Speed ].
3. The speed unit can be set to [ km,km/h ] or [ mi,mph ].
4. Select menu item [ Temperature ].
5. The temperature unit can be set to [ °C ]or [ °F ] 6. Select menu item [
Consumption ].
7. Consumption menu item: –[ 1/100 km ] or –[ mpg ( US ) ] or –[ mpg
( UK )] or –[ km/ l ].
Volume
1. Touch the [ Volume ] enter the settings interface. 2. Volume menu item:
–[ Bluetooth ] or –[ TA ] or –[ Tuner ] or –[ Navigation ] or
–[ USB ] ALLVolume menu item adjustment range: -5~+5;
Version info Click [ Version info ] to enter the setting interface, you can
view the following function information version: –[ MCU ] or –[ BT-FW ]
or –[ AP ] or –[ OS ] or –[ SN ] or –[ DAB ] or
or –[ MOST ] or –[ CAN ] or –[ GPL ] Factory reset. Via the menu
item Factory settings you can reset the radio navigation system to the
delivery status.
1. Touch the [ Factory reset ] the system will prompt whether to reset.
2. Please press [ Reset ],if not, please press [ Cancel ].
