Thank you for buying the Porsche computer mouse.
This User Guide is designed to help you to get to know the mouse and its
various functions.

This Porsche wireless mouse is a device used for information technology purposes. and is an input device for a computer. The device may not be used outside of enclosed spaces. Only use the device in office and living areas. Using the mouse in any other way constitutes improper use. No claims may be made with regard to damages resulting from improper use. The user bears all risks associated with such use.

The Porsche computer mouse is a wireless mouse that operates in the 2.4 GHz band and works properly right from the very start – without you having to change any settings – thanks to its Plug & Play functionality. lf there is interference in the radio channel as a result of radiation in the vicinity, the mouse automatically searches for a free channel and thereby provides a stable and secure connection. With its 2 buttons and the 3-way scroll wheel, the Porsche computer mouse offers all you need for intuitive computer operation. The high-resolution sensor allows you to work perfectly and comfortably on any surface. You can set the mouse pointer speed and double- click function using your operating system’s mouse control settings.

Preparation
1. Take the mouse out of the packaging.
2. Open the battery compartment F and remove the cover.
3. Remove the nano receiver G stored in the middle.
4. Plug the nano receiver G into a free USB port on your PC or Laptop.
5. Insert the two AA batteries H into the battery compartment.
Make sure to insert them correctly as shown in the battery compartment.
6. Then close the battery compartment.
7. Switch on the mouse using the On/Off switch D (“ON”). Your Porsche computer mouse is now ready for operation and can be used immediately after it is detected automatically on your computer.
Information
Your mouse will start working straight away. You do not have to set a connection ID.
Storing the nano receiver
When you are not using your mouse, please store the nano receiver carefully in the battery compartment.
1. Unplug the nano receiver G from the USB port on your PC.
2. Open the battery compartment F and remove the cover.
3. Insert the nano receiver G into its storage slot.
4. Close the cover on the battery compartment F. The nano receiver is now safely stored and cannot get lost.
5. Switch off the mouse using the On/Off switch D.
Troubleshooting
If your mouse is not working properly, try the following:
Problem | Solution |

The PC does not detect the Porsche computer mouse. | Unplug the nano receiver |
from the USB port and then plug it in again.
Wait until the operating system reports that the newly detected hardware is
ready.
The Porsche computer mouse will not work.| Make sure that the mouse is
switched on (On/Off switch in ON position).
The Porsche computer mouse will not work.| Check that the batteries are
inserted correctly.
The Porsche computer mouse will not work.| Check that the batteries are not
flat.
If the Porsche computer mouse still does not work properly, please contact your Porsche dealer.
Important safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Only pass the product on to other people together with the operating instructions.

This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Keep the product away from extreme temperatures, flammable gases, steam and extreme sunlight.

Avoid contact with damp and moisture.

Only clean the device using a clean, dry cloth. Do not use any aggressive or abrasive substances, or any substances containing alcohol.

If safe usage can no longer be guaranteed (due to damages or malfunctions), take the product out of operation and ensure it cannot be used inadvertently by anyone.

To avoid electrical shocks, do not open the housing. The device does not contain any parts that need to be maintained by the user.

Do not make any alterations to the device. Unauthorised alterations can impact product safety or system performance, and can prevent compliance with relevant laws. In this case, the warranty is no longer valid.

Ensure that maintenance and repair work is only carried out by qualified specialists.

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep the batteries out of reach of pets and children, especially batteries fitting within the limits of the truncated cylinder. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention and contact your local poison control centre.

RISK OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit or open the batteries.
Do not heat the batteries. -
Never throw the batteries in fire or water.

Do not place the batteries under mechanical stress.

Always ensure you insert the batteries correctly and take into account the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ markings on the battery and on the device.

Replace all batteries at the same time and ensure you do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.

Remove empty batteries immediately from the device to avoid any damage caused by leakages.

Never try to disassemble or open the batteries as this can cause the electrolytes in the batteries to burn.

Disposal
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates that this product must be collected and disposed of separately from regular household waste. Integrated batteries and rechargeable batteries can be disposed of together with the product. These components are separated from the product in recycling centres. The black bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after August 13, 2005 By using separate collection systems for this computer mouse and batteries, you will help to ensure the proper disposal of products and thus help to prevent potential negative consequences for human health and the environment. For more detailed information about the collection and recycling programmes available in your country, please contact your local city council and the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
Disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates that batteries and/or
rechargeable batteries must be collected and disposed of separately from
regular household waste. If batteries or rechargeable batteries contain more
than the specified values of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) and/ or cadmium (Cd)
defined in the Battery Directive (2006/66/EC), the chemical symbols for lead
(Pb), mercury (Hg) and/or cadmium (Cd) will appear below the crossed-out
wheelie bin symbol. By using separate collection systems for batteries, you
will help to ensure the proper disposal of batteries and thus help to prevent
potential negative consequences for human health and the environment.
In the interests of environmental protection, do not dispose your product as
household waste if it has served its time, but instead dispose it in a
professional manner. About collection points and their opening hours, you can
get in touch with your local administration. Defect or used batteries /
rechargeable batteries must comply with the directive 2006/66 / EC and is
amendments be recycled. Enter batteries or the product over the offered
collection facilities back. Environmental damage due to wrong disposal of the
batteries/ accumulators! Batteries/rechargeable batteries cannot be disposed
with household waste. They can contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment. The chemical symbols the heavy metals are as
follows:
Cd = Cadmium
Hg = mercury
Pb = Lead.
Therefore, give up used Batteries / accumulators in a municipal collection
point.
