User Guide

Thank you for choosing our intelligent electronic pillbox. This manual will guide you on how to use our product and ensure that our product does not pose a risk to its user Please read the manual before using our product. You may also want to keep this manual for future references. This product is for family use and should not be used for commercial purposes.

Tips and Precaution

  • Do not let children use or play with this device.
  • Do not use any accessories or attachments not provided by the manufacturer.
  • Do not place the device near fire or heat sources to prevent fire, shock, product damage, or any other form of damage.
  • Ensure the pillbox is placed on an even and stable surface. Do not flip it over unless you are trying to retrieve pills from its compartment. Please be aware that the pill container can be removed for your convenience.
  • Be careful not to drop the pillbox as it may damage the product or the pills inside.
  • Water will damage the pillbox, cause problems with the battery, or affect the pills inside. Do not place the pillbox in water or any other liquid, or expose it to liquid that might have gotten onto the pills. Do not place it in an environment with extreme heat or humidity.
  • Make sure the pill container is completely dry before inserting pills.
  • Do not ever open the locking cover forcefully.
  • Do not use batteries that do not fit or have torn or damaged packaging.
  • Do not mix new and old batteries.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the user and/or carer or the medical care provider to provide the correct medicine, dosage, and time. We shall not be responsible for missed doses.
  • If you miss doses for any reason, please contact your medical care provider and/or follow the instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Some medicine should be kept in air-tight spaces. Please do not expose them in the air. If you are not certain if the pillbox is suitable for storing your medicine, please consult your medical care provider or pharmacist.
  • When there is not enough power, the LCD display will show a low power indicator. Please change the batteries immediately to ensure the normal function of the pillbox

Product Highlights

  • Automatic Medication Reminder: Our system will light up repeatedly and rotate the internal pill container. The alarm will sound three times and stop. Then, it will sound for one minute every ten minutes according to the timetable you set.
  • APP setting: Through your phone, open the APP and connect to the pill box’s Bluetooth. You can synchronize the time for medication inside your APP with the intelligent electronic pillbox.
  • Automatic distribution system: Automatically rotate the container at the designated medication time to prevent you from missing doses or double doses.
  • 28 large pill compartments: The internal pill containers have adequate spacing between compartments to store more pills or tablets. Therefore, you can store all the pills you need to take at a designated time in one compartment.

  • Locking cover: The strong latch and manual locking key can help ensure the safety of your medicine. It prevents confusion or spillage, unnecessar3 modification, accidental removal, or theft.
  • Pill dispenser: Compared to the traditional “rotating” pillbox, obtaining your medication at the specified time for medication through a convenient dispensing window is easier for your fingers and joints. Once the internal pill container has rotated to the correct position, you only need to slide away the window and pour out the medication to stop the alarm.
  • Easy-to-read LCD display: Our LCD display shows time with the 12 hrs or 24 hrs format for your convenience. The four buttons allow you to set the alarm and adjust the volume, switching between 12/24 hrs display, and choose among 3 types of alarm sounds.
  • Batteries: Our pill box uses four AA alkaline batteries. You do not ever need to plug or charge it. (But please ensure you have spare batteries) No matter where you go, you can always bring your pillbox without worrying about needing power ports to charge your pillbox.

Connect to the device using Bluetooth

  1. When you first open the App the system will ask for your permission
    Because the APP requires your permission to set the alarm and notification

Open the APP and your phone’s Bluetooth. Tum on your intelligent electronic pillbox and follow the APP’g instruction to connect to the device. The APP will provide you with two selections [Add ordinary pill box] and [Add electronic pill bo] The two buttons will help you add an ordinary pillbox or a Bluetooth connected electronic pillbox

  1. When you first connect to the device, the intelligent electronic pillbox will sync the time with your phone’s Then, set the medication time in your App you can set at most 6 different time alarms and they will synchronize with your intelligent electronic pillbox, saving you from manually setting the time on your device. A kind reminder When setting your time in the APp, please ensure the intelligent electronic pillbox display is activated. Otherwise, the Bluetooth connection will be disconnected [fit is  disconnected, you only need to shake the intelligent electronic pillbox to activate the display and reconnect

Register and tog in

  1. After you have set your pillbox, or connected to your Bluetooth pillbox, if you have not registered or logged in, the APP will direct you to the registration page. You can use your email to register and log in. This will help you save the information about your pillbox and alarm. You can log into your account from the APP on other devices. Of course, you can use the A9Pas as a guest. Guests can only store their settings in the current device

Alarm Settings

  1. The first time you enter the main page, you will see the pillbox you have registered without any alarms. Press the upper right [Ad+J button to set the alarm. On the alarm setting page, you can add up to six alarms. You can set each alarm with the corresponding medication You can also attach a photo of the medication to prevent taking the
    wrong medication. After you have finished setting the alarm, press the [Done]button to complete the setting. Your app will automatically sync the alarm with your Bluetooth pillbox. You have now completed the basic operation of your APP. Enjoy

Product Instructions

  1. Install batteries
    Open the battery cover with the key and install4 AA batteries. The battery compartment is on the back of the device.

  2. **Lock/Unlock the pillbox

** Insert the key and turn it clockwise by 60 degrees to lock
Insert the key and turn it anti-clockwise by 60 degrees to unlock.

  1. Cleaning instructions
    Wipe the pill container with a piece of wet cloth

  2. **How to put in your medication

** You will find that there are six daily dosage tings provided. Choose the correct daily dosage ring according to your medical requirement. You can set a maximum of 6 daily doses Then, insert the right daily dosage ring into the device. Press the daily dose ring so it sticks firmly onto the pillbox before putting in the pills You only need to place the daily dose ring suitable for you in the middle of the pillbox, then fold the protruding piece downward to hold it in place Once the daily dose ring is fixed, put your medication in the appropriate compartments The refill frequency is dependent on the amount of daily dose.   1. How to access the compartment?
    Slide the cover to the right to open the device

  2. How to stop the alarm?
    To stop the alarm and obtain your medication, take the pillbox and pour the pills onto your hand or any suitable container

  3. Wake the system from sleep mode
    If the display is left alone for 5S minutes, and there are no alarms or notifications, the system will enter sleep mode and turn off the display When there is an alarm or notification, the system will wake up and sound the alarm. Pressing any buttons will also wake the system

  4. Low power warning
    Low power state When the battery power is 5%, gr the voltage is below a certain threshold, the low power indicator will start to blink [one time every second). You will then need to change all the batteries

Setting the time and time format
Instructions: Press “Button 1” (All information is hidden other than the time). Press “Button 2” again. The hour, minute, “:”, AM/PM will start blinking simultaneously (When you are using the 24 HRS format, AM/PM is not displayed). Press “-” and “+” to switch between 12/24 HRS format (When switching to 12 FIRS format, AM/PM will be displayed accordingly) Press “Button 1” again. The hours will start blinking. Press “-” and “+ to change the hour. Hold “-” and “+” to accelerate the change of numbers. Press “Button 1” again. The minutes will start blinking. Press “-” and “+” to change the minutes. Hold the “-” and “+” button to accelerate the change of numbers. When you’re resetting the time, you will not affect the changes in time (the time will still update as time goes). Press “Button 1” again to exit and return to the home page.
Note: While setting, the item will blink every 0.5 seconds and stay lit for 0.5 seconds.If you do not do anything for one minute while in the menu setting, you will automatically exit and return to the home page.
Setting the alarm.
Instructions:

  1. Press “Button 1” twice (All information is hidden other than the time, alarm, and title)
  2. Press “Button 2” again. The “0 OF 6” display will change from 0 to 1 and start blinking.
  3. Press “-” and +” to switch from 1-6 of the alarm. (Alarms that are not set will be displayed as “–: –“)
  4. Press “Button 1” again. The hours will start blinking and you can set the hours for the alarm. Hold “-” and “+” to accelerate the change in numbers.
  5. Press “Button 1” again. The minutes will start blinking and you can set the minutes for the alarm. Hold “-” and “+” to accelerate the change in numbers.
  6. Press “Button 1” again to save the alarm setting. Return to CD and press “Button 1” to enter the next setting.
  7. You can set a maximum of 6 alarms. The order of the alarms depends on the order of times set.
  8. Cancel the current alarm: After Step 0 or at Step 0 & 0, press “Button 2” and the alarm will be set to “–: –“.
    Note: While setting, the item will blink every 0.5 seconds and stay lit for 0.5 seconds.If you do not do anything for one minute while in the menu setting, you will automatically exit and return to the home page.

Set the alarm sound and volume (Default A sound at maximum volume)
Instructions: Press ‘Button 1″ three times. (All information is hidden other than the alarm sound symbol and ABC) Press °Button 2″ again. The sound symbol will start blinking. Press “and “+” can change the intensity of the volume. There are only 3 volume selections that are shown on the symbol. While setting the volume, the alarm will play repeatedly. Press “Button 1” again. The set alarm sound among the ABC symbols will start blinking. Press and “+” to switch between alarm sounds (The alarm sound selected will blink while the other two stay lit). While setting the alarm sound, the alarm will play repeatedly. Press “Button 1” again to confirm and exit the alarm sound setting.
Note: While setting, the item will blink every 0.5 seconds and stay lit for 0.5 seconds. If you do not do anything for one minute while in the menu setting, you will automatically exit and return to the home page.
Sleep mode and wake
Instructions: Press “Button 2” to enter sleep mode. The display will close. Pressing any button will wake the system. If the display is left alone for 5 minutes, and there is no alarm or notification, the system will “sleep” and turn off the display. When there is an alarm or notification, the system will wake up and sound the alarm.

Introduction to Buttons

  1. Light
    When it’s time for medication, the light will be lit up and blink. When the user picks up the pillbox, the alarm will stop. If the user does not pick up the pillbox, the alarm will sound three times before stopping. It will then sound for one minute every ten minutes.

  2. “+” and “-” Buttons
    Used for adjusting the time format/time/alarm/volume/alarm sound

  3. Menu Button
    Switch between menu, switch between hours and minutes. 1) Press once to enter the time format menu. 2) Press a second time to enter the alarm menu. 3) Press a third time to enter the alarm sound and volume menu. 4) Press a fourth time to return to the home page.

  4. Sleep Button
    Used to enter Sleep Mode/Setting/Reset alarm 1) Press once at the home page to enter Sleep Mode. 2) At the time format menu, press once to set the time format. 3) At the alarm menu, press once to set the alarm. When setting the alarm, press again to reset the alarm. 4) At the alarm sound and volume menu, press once to set the alarm sound and volume.

The Displays

  1. Power Indicator
    There are five power indicators
    Full state: Battery power >75%
    3 bars state: Battery power >50%
    2 bars state: Battery power >25%
    1 bar state: Battery power >5%
    Low power state: Battery power <5% or the voltage is below a certain threshold, the indicator will start blinking (once every second).

  2. Bluetooth Indicator
    The Bluetooth Indicator will not light up when disconnected. The Bluetooth Indicator will light up when connected.

  3. Setting the Alarm
    You can set a maximum of six alarms.
    Alarm not selected: 0 OF 6
    Setting Alarm 1:1 OF 6
    Setting Alarm 2: 2 OF 6
    And so on.

  4. The three alarm sounds (ABC)
    Default alarm sound is set to A
    The indicator will indicate which alarm sound is selected.

  5. Volume
    Default volume is set at maximum.
    Minimum Volume Indicator
    Medium Volume Indicator
    Maximum Volume Indicator

  6. Time
    Default time is set at 12:00 Default time format is 24HRS, AM/PM is not displayed When time format is set to 12HRS, AM/PM will be displayed accordingly. The “:” colon blinks and stays lit every one second.

  7. Next Alarm
    Displays the time for the next alarm 1) Before setting an alarm, it is displayed as “–: –“. AM/PM is not displayed.

  1. After setting the alarm in 12HRS format, the AM/PM will be displayed accordingly
  1. Error Indicator
    Will not be displayed under normal circumstances
    When the device is stuck, the ERR!” Indicators will blink and stay lit every second.

Care and Maintenance

  • Use a piece of soft and damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the pillbox Do not use any strong detergent
  • If required, remove the internal pill container and gently rinse the individual pill compartments
  • Do not soak the device in water or any other liquid.
  • Before refilling the medication, make sure the internal compartments of the pill, containers are dry and clean
