SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Store out of the reach of children.
  • Follow all the safety instructions on the gas cartridge.
  • Only use the appliance in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not point the nozzle at the body or clothes, at other people or
  • animals, or towards flammable objects when lighting and in use.
  • Take the appliance outdoors immediately if there is a smell of gas.

use

Familiarise yourself with the controls on the gas burner and how to use them.

WARNING

  • Handle the gas burner with care – it contains flammable gas under pressure.
  • Do not touch the flame condudor when the gas burner is in use, or just afterwards – risk of burn injury.
  • Keep the nozzle clean. Avoid dropping the gas burner and do not subjed it to knocks and blows.
  • Do not store the gas burner in dired sunlight, or where the temperature can exceed 40°C.
  • Be careful when handling butane gas – it is highly flammable.
  • Always check after use that the flame adjuster is set to “-” and that the flame is out.
  • Allow the gas burner to cool before putting away.
  • Do not use the gas burner for more than one hour at once.
  • Do not puncture the gas burner and keep it away from sources of heat and naked flames.

REFILLING GAS

NOTE:

  • The burner is supplied without gas.
  • Only use butane of good quality.
    1. Check before refilling gas that the refill valve is tight.
    2. Shake the gas burner before filling.
    3. Move the flame adjuster to position”-“.
    4. Hold the gas burner with the refill value upwards.
    5. Bring down the cartridge nozzle vertically into the refill valve. Use a pumping action for best results.
    6. Allow the gas to stabilise for a few minutes after refilling.

LIGHTING

  1. Move the flame adjuster to position”+”.
  2. Press the safety lock until it locks with a click FIG. 3
  3. Press and hold the lighter button. The flame lights immediately. For safety reasons the lighter button cannot be pressed if the safety lock is locked. FIG. 4
  4. Adjust the length of the flame with the flame adjuster. Move the adjuster to”+” for a longer flame, orto “-“fora shorter flame. For best results the length of the flame should be from 10-25 mm. A very long flame becomes unstable and consumes more gas. The burner may not work with the longest flame well above sea level (adjuster moved to”+”). For best results put the adjuster in the middle between”+” and”-“.

It the lighter button is not fully pressed down the safety lock springs out and it will not be possible to press in the lighter button. If this happens, repeat the lighting process from the beginning.

EXTINGUISHING

Release the lighter button to extinguish the flame.

STEADY FLAME

WARNING!
Be very careful when using a steady flame. The flame burns all the time and does not go out until the lock button is released manually.

  1. Press in the lighter button and move the lock button up for a steady flame. FIG. S
