To avoid any impact on the environment or human health due to dangerous substances present in electrical and electronic devices, the end users of such devices are expected to understand the meaning of the symbol consisting of a crossed-out waste container. Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment along with unsorted household waste. Dispose of it separately and properly instead.

Used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. They must be delivered to a special container for used batteries. This is an obligation intended to ensure the ecological disposal of batteries. Return them only when they are empty.

The packaging that protects the device against transport damage is made from non-polluting materials that can be disposed of via local recycle bins.

Safety warnings

DANGER! This symbol, when combined with the note Danger, means high risk. Failure to observe this warning may lead to injury to life and limb.

DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
  • Oral irrigators can be used by children 8 years and up as well as persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lacking experience and knowledge, when supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Packing materials are not toys. Children must not play with the packing materials. There is a suffocation risk.
  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

DANGER!

  • Oral irrigators must only be used with cold or warm water. Use only clear tap water without additives.

  • The device is designed for private, domestic use. This device must not be used for commercial purposes.

  • Do not handle the charging cable interface or unplug the power adapter with wet hands.

  • Do not connect or unplug the power adapter from the household outlet with wet hands.

  • Do not immerse the charger cable in water or wash it with water.
    Please do not charge the product inside a bathroom or any other damp space.

  • If the charging cable or power adapter is damaged or doesn’t connect to the product’s charging interface properly, please don’t charge the product.

  • The appliance is only to be used with the charging cable provided.

  • Do not start using this device if it, the battery charger or the mains power cable show visible damage, or if the device has previously been dropped.

  • Connect the USB plug to a properly installed and easily accessible USB socket. The USB socket must remain easily accessible once the device has been plugged in.

  • Make sure the charging cable cannot be caught, crushed, and damaged by sharp edges or hot points.

  • Disconnect the plug from the USB socket if there is a fault/ when you are not using the device/ before you clean the device / during thunderstorms.

  • To avoid any risk, do not modify the device in any way . Repairs must be carried out by Prozis.

  • The battery is to be disposed of safely.

BATTERY DANGER
  • Do not expose the device to direct sun or heat. The ambient temperature should not be lower than 0°C or higher than +40 °C.
    Charge the hand unit of the appliance using the original battery charger only. Protect the battery against mechanical damages. Fire hazard!

  • Should the electrolyte solution leak out of the battery, avoid contact with your eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor. The electrolyte solution can cause irritation.

DANGER TO AND FROM PETS AND LIVESTOCK
  • Electrical devices can represent a hazard to pets and livestock. In addition, animals can also cause damage to the device. For this reason, you should keep animals away from electrical devices at all times.

CAUTION! This symbol highlights dangerous situations which could lead to minor to moderate injuries, damage, malfunction, and/or destruction of the device.

To prevent harm or damage from happening to users or others, make sure to comply with the below requirements.

  • People with serious periodontal disease, undergoing dental treatment or worried about oral cavity discomfort should consult a dentist before use. Otherwise, it may cause damage to teeth and gums.

  • Do not use the product for any purpose other than oral cleaning.
    Otherwise, accidents or injuries may occur if water flows to the eyes, nose, ears or throat.

  • Do not fill the tank with a water temperature above 40 ºC, otherwise, it may cause burns.

  • Do not share the nozzle with your family or other people, since this may cause infection or inflammation.

  • In the first few days of use, some users may experience slight gum bleeding. If the bleeding lasts longer than 7 days, please consult your dentist.

  • If you have had oral or gum surgery in the previous 2 months, consult your dentist before you use this appliance.

  • If you suffer from severe periodontitis, have oral mucosa injuries or ulcers, mucosa or had dental surgery in the last two months, please consult a dentist before using the appliance.

  • If you have medical concerns, consult your doctor before you use this appliance.

  • This appliance complies with the safety standards for electromagnetic devices. If you have a pacemaker or any other implanted device, contact your physician or the implanted device manufacturer before using this appliance.

Maintenance and cleaning

Cleaning

Switch the product off and remove all plugs before cleaning!

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the components. They can damage the upper surface of the appliance!

After each use

Open the cover, pour out any remaining water from the water tank, and close the cover  again.

Switch on the appliance for a few seconds to remove any remaining water from the pipes inside the appliance. Wipe the device with a dry cloth.

Press down the release button and gently pull the nozzle attachment upwards.

Rinse the nozzle attachment under running water and insert it into a holder. Allow it to dry.

Do not immerse the appliance and/or the battery charger in water! The battery charger must be completely dry before you plug it.

Make sure that moisture does not enter the product while cleaning to prevent damage to the product and related repairs.

Do not clean in the dishwasher or using any other cleaning devices.

General cleaning

Clean the internal parts by adding 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to a full reservoir of water.

Place only the tip inside the sink and switch on the unit. Rinse with a full reservoir of clean water. Repeat this process every 1-3 months to ensure optimal performance.

NOTE: To prevent bacteria from spreading, make sure no water remains inside the unit.

If you’re not going to use this appliance for a long period of time, make sure to wipe it and dry it thoroughly before storing it.

Storage

Make sure the container is totally dry before storing it .

When no longer using the device, store it in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight. Pour out any remaining water from the device and allow all parts to dry completely before storing them.

Do not store below -30 ºC, above 60 ºC or in humid environments (90% humidity).

If the device is not going to be used for a long period of time, you should recharge it on a regular basis. This helps maintain battery performance.

Store your device inside the original case provided.

If you are not going to use the device for more than one week, allow the water tank to dry completely before you place it back onto the device.

NOTE: Replace the tips every 6 months

INSTRUCTIONS

Charging

  1. Insert the cable into the unit and plug it into an USB outlet.
  2. The Red LED light indicates that charging is in progress. The green LED light indicates the device is fully charged. Battery indicator will be steady green when fully charged.
  3. Once the battery is fully charged, the charging process will stop due to battery overcharge protection.
  4. Charge the unit for 6 hours prior to its first use.
  5. When left to charge, do not place metal objects or water near the device to avoid hazards.
  6. If you use the water flosser once a day or less, it is recommended to charge it overnight, once a week. Do not run the battery down completely as this may shorten its lifespan.

  1. Insert the nozzle into the hole at the top of the handle. If the nozzle needs to be replaced, switch off the device and then press the release button to easily replace it.

  2. Pour some water into the tank. There are two ways to fill the device with water:

    • Open the tank cover, hold the device horizontally, pour some water into the tank and then replace the tank cover.
    • Remove the water tank, hold the tank vertically and fill it with water.
  3. The device has three modes: Daily; High; Pulse.
    Daily: Continuous water spray – first indicator light (2 minutes). Low water pressure is suited for first-time users and sensitive people.
    High: Continuous water spray – second indicator light (2 minutes). Regular use.
    Pulse: Water is sprayed three times per second – third indicator light (2 minutes). The pulse flow is for deep cleaning and massaging gums.

    • In standby mode, press the button to switch between modes.
    • If no mode is chosen for 3 seconds, the device will resume standby.
    • If you’re using the device for the first time please try the Daily mode for a week until you have fully adjusted.
  4. Before use, hold it vertically, with the nozzle turned towards your mouth and directed at your teeth or gums. At the same time, slightly open your mouth so that water can flow out smoothly.

  5. Please note:

    • Align the nozzle with the gumline and use it perpendicular to the gum.
    • It cleans teeth, trays, crowns and dentures thoroughly.
    • Do not spray water directly down the periodontal pockets.
    • After use, press the power button to switch it off.
    • This product has a 2-minute timing function. If you still need to use it, just press the power button again to switch it on.
    • It features a memory function mode.
  6. Installing the tips

    • Press and hold the key at the back of the unit to install a tip that is right for you. Click the tip into place.

Classic Jet Tip

This tip can be used every day for a deeper cleaning between teeth and below the gum line where regular flossing and brushing cannot reach.

NOTE: This process is not reversible.

Do not disassemble the product by yourself. This operation requires basic safety precautions.

  • Before removing the battery, you must unplug the power plug and the charging plug.
  • Before removing the battery, make sure it is depleted. If you need for it to run out of power, you can press the power button to switch on the device and allow it to work until it stops automatically.
  • Press the nozzle release button (Figure 1 – 1 ) to remove the nozzle, and move the water tank in the direction of the arrow (Figure 1 – 2 ).
  • Remove the main body back cover in the direction of the arrow (Figure 2).
  • Use an appropriate screwdriver to unscrew the four screws and remove the movement assembly (Figure 3).

Troubleshooting

Some issues that arise may be solved by the user. If the problem persists after having tried the following solutions, please contact Prozis customer service.

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The device cannot be switched on. You have just purchased the product, or it
has not been used for more than 3 months. Charge the battery.
The appliance can be used only for several minutes, even if charged. Not
enough charge. The main unit is not standing upright on the charger. Charge

the battery.
Water pressure is low.| The nozzle is clogged.| Replace the nozzle.
| The mouth of the nozzle is squashed.| Replace the nozzle.
| The filter is clogged.| Clean the filter.
No water coming out.| The main unit is too tilted while in use.| Keep the main unit in a vertical position while in use.
It only works for a few minutes even after charging.| The charging time was insufficient.| Charge the unit for about 24 hours.

Warranty statement

All electrical and electronic products commercialized by Prozis via www.prozis.com are covered by the warranty applicable to the purchase and sale of consumer goods.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

This document contains the terms and conditions of Prozis’ warranty for final consumers.

This warranty is valid exclusively for consumers who purchase the product for non professional purposes.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Prozis guarantees the product is to remain free from material and production defects for a 2-year period, counting from the date of initial purchase by a consumer and respective delivery, or for longer if legally established by the applicable national law.

In the event that repair is required, this 2-year period is suspended during repair time.

CONSUMABLES

The gradual performance decrease caused by prolonged use of the product’s consumable components, such as batteries, is not covered by this warranty unless the malfunction is caused by faulty design, materials or production.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

If the need arises to exercise the rights conceded to you through this warranty, please contact Prozis customer service via the communication channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the provided instructions or recommendations. Contact and technical assistance information is also provided at the end of this warranty

Any claims made regarding this warranty will only be valid if proof of purchase is presented by the original customer. This proof of purchase may be the original invoice or receipt, as long as it includes information regarding the date of purchase and the product’s model name.

WARRANTY REPAIRS

Any repairs made under this warranty cannot be made by third parties. This warranty does not apply to any repairs, or damage caused directly by such repairs, that have impacted or caused the damage that is the subject of the respective warranty claim.

EXCLUSIONS

The following situations are not covered by this warranty:

  1. Any wear and tear of parts and components resulting from normal product use.
  2. Cracks, dents, scratches, and other types of superficial damage that only affect the product’s appearance.
  3. Any malfunction caused by inappropriate use of the product that does not comply with user manual instructions.
  4. Use and storage of the product not complying with user manual instructions.
  5. Opening of the product by a third party who is not authorized to proceed to its repair.
  6. Altering or changing parts or components, whether internal or external.
  7. Damage caused by battery leakage resulting from the breaking of any of its components, or from product misuse.
  8. Malfunction or damage due to reasons that cannot be ascribed to the production or design of the product.
  9. Use of the product in the context of a business, occupation or commerce.
  10. Malfunction due to use that does not comply with the technical or security norms in force, or with user manual instructions.

The services provided by Prozis in order to repair or fix any fault or malfunction resulting from the verification of any of the aforementioned excluded situations will be subject to payment of labor, transport and component costs.

The customer shall bear all risks of loss and damage to the product during transportation to Prozis. This warranty will be void if the returned product arrives with labels or stickers that have been removed, damaged, tampered with or modified in any way.

LIMITED RESPONSIBILITY

Prozis cannot be held responsible for indirect damage or loss due to usage of the product.
