START-UP GUIDE
My Polar Bear Storyteller is a real educational tool that will allow your
child to develop his vocabulary, his concentration, and his autonomy while
having fun. To turn on My Polar Bear Storyteller, simply push the button under
the base of the storyteller to the “ON” mode.
To stop the storyteller, push this button to the “OFF” mode.
UNPACKING YOUR DEVICE
When unpacking, ensure the following elements are included:
- 1 x Storyteller
- 1 x Charging cable
- 1 x Instruction manual
WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties, and tags are not part of this toy and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
LISTENing TO A STORY
Press the button to listen to a random story.
To listen to the following story press ****.
To listen to the previous story, press this button .
To pause the story, long press . Press and hold again to resume playback.
LISTENing TO A MELODY
To listen to a melody, press the button .
To change the melody, press the button again .
TURNing ON THE NIGHTLIGHT
To turn on the nightlight, press the polar bear, or the button on the bottom of the storyteller.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
The storyteller offers 4 different volume levels. By default, the storyteller
is set to volume 3.
To decrease the volume, press and hold .
To increase the volume, press the ****.
BATTERY INFORMATION
My polar Bear Storyteller operates with a rechargeable battery of 3.7V Li-ion, 400mAh, which can be charged with the USB cable.
To charge My Polar Bear Storyteller, insert the small end of the USB charging
cable into the battery connector.
Connect the other end of the cable to a computer’s USB port.
USB cable (included): 5.0 V 500mA Input: 100 – 240V ~ 50/60Hz
This toy is only to be connected to equipment bearing either of the following symbols .
Warning: Disconnect the adapter if the game is not used for a long period
of time to prevent overheating. When the game is powered by an adapter, do not
play outside. Check the state of the adapter and the connection cords
regularly. If their condition is deteriorating, do not use the adapter until
it has been repaired. The toy shall only be used with a transformer for toys.
The adapter is not a toy. The device should be disconnected from the power
supply to be cleaned if liquids are used for cleaning. The toy is not intended
for children under 3 years old. Misuse of the transformer can cause electrical
shock. Parental advisory: Transformers and adaptors for toys are not intended
to be used as a toy.
The usage must be under parental advice.
WARNING: Significant electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharges may cause the device to malfunction or lose data. If the device is not functioning correctly, switch it off and then on again, or unplug the USB cable.
MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY
To clean the unit, use only a cloth slightly dampened with water and no detergent. Do not leave the appliance in direct sunlight or expose it to a heat source. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not drop it. Do not attempt to disassemble. Do not bend or twist the unit.
NOTE: Please keep this instruction manual, it contains important information. This product is covered by our 2-year warranty. For any claim under the warranty or after-sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat, humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference. In a bid to keep improving our services, we could implement modifications to the colors and the details of the product shown on the packaging.
Note: This toy contains a battery that is non-replaceable. Batteries are only to be charged by adults or by children at least 8 years old.
WARNING:
- Risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Please only replace it with the same or an equivalent battery.
- The battery should not be exposed to high temperatures, such as sunlight, fire, or anything similar.
Precautions for use:
- Keep a minimum distance around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation;
- The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.;
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus;
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal;
- The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
