Quick Start Guide

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing our product, MODEL BT-150. Please read the information in this Quick Start Guide before using the product.

2. Important Notes – Please read this carefully before use

  • This product is exclusive for cooking meat/food in a grill or oven. It should only be used as described in the User Manual.

  • This product is not intended for use by people ages 12 and under.

  • It is required to insert the STAKE properly into the charging compartment of BT-150 repeater for charging. Please make sure the pole of STAKE and the charging pin is properly contact while charging.

  • It is required to insert the STAKE properly into the meat/food during cooking. Do not expose the metal part of the STAKE to the heat generated by grill/oven directly.

  • To obtain the best result, please make sure the tip of the STAKE is located at the center (or the thickest part) of the meat/food.

  • Do not use the STAKE in a microwave oven.

  • DO NOT TOUCH THE STAKE WITH BARE HANDS JUST AFTER COOKING. Always wear oven gloves to remove the STAKE from the meat/food after cooking.

  • When the temperature is higher than the overheat threshold (212 °F/100 °C), an overheat alert will be triggered. Remove the STAKE immediately from the heat source with oven gloves.

  • The STAKE can be washed in water but do not immerse for more than a few seconds.

  • Do not recharge the STAKE until it has cooled down to room temperature.

  • The STAKE has normal Bluetooth range of 30 ft to your phone. The BT-150 repeater receives the bluetooth signal instead of your phone and repeats it up to 150 ft to your phone. These are clear line of sight ranges and will be reduced if obstacles are in the path of the RF signal.

COOKING

  • The BT-150 repeater is not waterproof.
  • Take out the battery from BT-150 repeater whenever it is not in use for long periods.
  • Turn off the BT-150 and save the battery power by sliding the switch to the USB position.
  • Maverick will not be liable for any damage of the product due to misuse of the device.

3. Getting Started

3.1 Insert Battery into BT-150 repeater

  • Slide the side switch to USB position
  • Take out the battery door
  • Insert a new AAA size battery
  • Put back the battery door

3.2 Turn ON BT-150 repeater

  • Slide the side switch to BAT position

  • The LED will be flashing slowly
    PS: To save power, slide the side switch to USB position to switch off the device or take out the battery when it is not in use.

  • Slide the side switch to BAT position

  • The LED will be flashing slowly

3.3 Charging the STAKE

  • Put the STAKE into the charging compartment

  • The LED will then be flashing quickly. When the STAKE is charged, the LED will stay ON for about 2 seconds and go off.
    The STAKE is ready to use now !!!

3.4 Download the app

Download the latest version of APP (STAKE) from Apple APP Store or Google Play (or scan the QR code in the right hand side)
