DJI OM 5 Overview

Magnetic Phone Clamp

Shutter/Record Button
Press once to take photos or start/stop recording. Press and hold for burst shot. -
Frame Adjustment Button
Press once to switch between front and back cameras. Press twice to switch between landscape and portrait mode. -
Battery Level Indicators
Indicates the battery level of the gimbal. -
1/4”-20 UNC Screw Hole
For mounting accessories such as a tripod. -
System Status Indicator
Indicates the status of the gimbal. -
Joystick
Move vertically to tilt the mobile phone. Move horizontally to pan the mobile phone. Scroll the options when in quick menu. -
Lanyard Hole

Zoom Slider
Move the slider to the T position to enlarge the subject and move the slider to the W position to shrink. -
Trigger
Press and hold to enter lock mode, release to exit lock mode. Press once to start or stop ActiveTrack (requires enable ActiveTrack in DJI Mimo). Press twice to recenter the gimbal.
When using ActiveTrack 3.0, the gimbal will recenter to the center of the camera view. Press once, and then press and hold to enter Sport mode, release to exit. -
Power/M Button
When Powered Off: Press once to check battery level. Press and hold until it beeps once to power on.
When Powered On: Press once to switch between photo and video mode, or to bring out the quick menu. Press twice to enter/exit standby mode. Press four times to enter FPV mode. Press and hold to power off. -

Charge the DJI OM 5 through the charging port (USB-C).
Attaching the Phone
- Attach the magnetic phone clamp in the center of the phone.
- Align the marks on the phone clamp and the mounting plate.
- Attach the mobile phone to DJI OM 5.
DJI Mimo App
Mobile phone camera can be controlled by DJI OM 5 after connecting the mobile phone and DJI OM 5 via DJI Mimo, and more features can be used in DJI Mimo. Download the DJI Mimo app and make full use of the DJI OM 5.
