Magen Dual Mode Sensor Introduction
The product supporta both Bluetcott, 4.0 and ANT+ protocols and can be uaed aa
both a apaed aenaor or a cadence senaor.
The sensor can be used by most smartphone apps and GPS Head units. Re-
installing the battary will switch modes between cadence and speed eenBDr.
When the battery la lnetalled, the green light ftashea to Indicate that it is
in speed mode, or the red light ftashea to indicate tt,e senaor is in cadence
mode.

Using the Sensor

The new sensor comes with a battery insulation sheet that must be removed tom the battery compartment before use.
Speed sensor mode- Reinstall the battery and the green light will illuminate to indicate that the sen&er is in speed sen&er mode.
- Install the senaor on the front hub using a rubber ring.
- Spin the wheel and aearch for the aensor using ANT+ or Bluatcoth device.
Using the Sensor
Cadence sensor mode
- Remove and reinatall the battery and the red indicator lights up to indicate that the senaor is in cadence mode.
- Install tt,e flat alllcone gasket on Iha bottom of Iha aanaor and install the senaor on the inside of the left crank using a rubber ring.
- Rotata the crank and aearch for the cadence sensor using an ANT+ or Bluetooth device.
Note : After inatalling the senaor, pleaee make sure that the sensor and rubber ring do not rub against the shoes or blcycle during riding, so aa to avoid damage or loss of the eeneordurtng use.

- The sensor will only start sending Bluetoolh and ANT+ broedcaala an.r n la property lnatalled and WOkel)-Up. Than, you can use the corresponding device or AIPP to aearch and connect.
- When using the Bluetoolh protocol, you can only connect to one device or AIPP concurrenUy. Please disconnect the previous device or AIPP when you want to change it.
- When using a 111T1artphone app, you need to aearch for tt,e sensor in the app, searching tt,rough the phone system’s bluatcoth settings is invalid
- After the sensor is in static, it will autornalically enter the sleep state for 1 minute lo save power.
- Rotating the c111nk or spinning the wheel is the -ke up operation. It will make the sensor be found from the list of connectable sensors in 30 seconds. If the sensor dosen1 be connected in 30 seconds,it will stop broadcasting and can1 be found any mo111.You must stop rotating the crank or spinning the wheel for a couple of seconds and redo Iha – up ope111tion.
