The auraLED Wi-Fi ColorBulb allows you to turn on the lights automatically in a smart and ingenious way from any location. Simply connect to your home Wi-Fi and enjoy multiple features of this state-of-the-art smart LED light bulb. It is simple to set up and control, and is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Schedule different colors of light to suit the time of day and brighten your room’s ambience. Simply download the Izumi Smart Home App to your smartphone, twist in the bulb, and connect. Forget about hubs, smart plugs, or additional hardware to install; save money and reduce energy costs while increasing your home’s security with this energy efficient light bulb.

Install Izumi Smart Home App
Scan the QR Code or search and download “Izumi Smart Home” in App store or Google Play.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

• Have your Wi-Fi network and password readily available

• Ensure that your mobile device is running Android Version 4.4/ iOS 9 or higher

• Make sure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network

• Download the Izumi Smart Home app from the Apple App store or Google Play

• Open the App and register an account

• Once the account is set up, or if you already have an account, log in to your account

•  Choose the lamp, light socket, etc. where you want to install the ColorBulb; make sure the surtace is clean and free of any oil or liquids.

•  Screw the ColorBulb firmly into the light socket

Adding the ColorBulb to the Izumi Smart Home App

Method 1 (EZ Setup)

• Step 1: Once you are logged in the Tzumi Smart Home app click on the(+) sign in the top right corner.
• 1 Step 2: Ensure that the light is blinking quickly. That indicates 1 it’s ready to connect. 11 the bulb is not blinking fast, turn the light ON & OFF 3 times, the bulb will start blinking fast.
• Step 3: Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
• Step 4: The Izumi Smart Home app will try to connect to your  device. (Make sure that your phone and device are as close to your router as possible)
  NOTE: The Izumi Smart Home app cannot connect to 5 GHZ networks. If the connection fails, try connecting through AP mode.

Method 2 (Manual AP)

• Step 1: Make sure that the device is in AP mode and is blinking slowly. To enter AP mode, turn the light ON & OFF 3 times, if it flashes quickly, repeat the process and it will start blinking slowly.
• Step 2: In the Smart Aura LED app on the top corner of the device click(+) choose “AP Mode.”
• Step 3: Click Next and enter Wi-Fi details.
• Step 4: Follow the instructions and select the device from your Wi-Fi list.
• Step 5: The device will now connect.

How to control the ColorBulb

• Once connected click on the name you have given your ColorBulb.
• On the main menu choose from different modes of lighting 1 i. e. night, reading, cocktail, leisure etc.
• You can also choose from different color modes at the bottom of the screen.
• A rainbow sphere will appear with an array of colors simply slide left or right to choose your favorite color.
• You can also select the intensity and brightness of light from the bottom of the screen.
• Under schedule you can set up different days of the week to use Smart Mode and schedule times for the light(s) to turn on and off.

How to Add several Devices Together on Izumi Smart Home App
You can also group devices on the Tzumi Smart Home app. Follow these steps to group several devices together.

1. From your main device click on one of the devices you want to group.
2. Press the ” … ” button on the top right corner for advanced settings.
3. Click on Create Group.
4. Choose which devices you would like to group together and click save.

Using the ColorBulb with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa ‘ You can control the ColorBulb with your voice with the
Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa smart voice control devices. Voice control is only available in English at this time.

Requirement:

•  Make sure the Color.Bulb is on and/or screwed in properly
• The ColorBulb is active in the Tzumi Smart Home App
• The Google Home app or Amazon Alexa is installed on your smart device and you have an active account
• A device with the Google assistant (i.e. Google Home, Google Home Mini) or an Alexa enabled device (i.e. Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show)

Control the ColorBulb with the Google Assistant

• Open the Google Home app
• Say “OK Google, talk to Tzumi Smart” the Google Assistant will initiate the Google Action for the ColorBulb
• Follow the instructions on the Google Home app to link the Tzumi Smart Action
• You are now ready to control the Color.Bulb with simple voice commands

Try these:

• “OK Google, turn the ColorBulb on” -the ColorBulb will turn ON
• “OK Google, turn the Color.Bulb off” -the Color.Bulb will turn OFF
• “OK Google, set the Color.Bulb to 50%” -the ColorBulb will dim to 50%
• “OK Google, change the ColorBulb color to purple” -the ColorBulb will turn purple

Control the ColorBulb with Amazon Alexa

• Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smart device and select ‘Skills’ from the options menu
• Once you are on the ‘Skills’ page, search for ‘Tzumi Smart’ and tap ‘Enable’
• Use your Tzumi Smart Home APP credentials to log in to give Alexa access to control the ColorBulb
• You are now ready to control th e Color.Bulb with simple voice commands.

Try these:

• “Alexa, turn the ColorBulb on” -the ColorBulb will turn ON
• “Alexa, turn the ColorBulb off” -the Color.Bulb will turn OFF
• “Alexa, set the ColorBulb to 50%” -the ColorBulb will dim to 50%
• “Alexa, change the ColorBulb color to purple” -the ColorBulb will turn purple

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I share access to the ColorBulb with family and friends?
   Your family and friends can have access to control the ColorBulb. In the Izumi Smart Home app, press the profile button and click on the “Device Sharing,” button and you will be able to give or revoke sharing permissions. In order to quality, the other user should already have downloaded the Izumi Smart Home App and registered an account.

2. How many devices can I control?
   The Izumi Smart Home app can control an unlimited number of devices in an unlimited amount of locations. Please note that your router may have a limit on how many devices can be connected to one router.

3. The device appears offline or unreachable what can I do?
   Make sure that your Wi-Fi router is online and in range. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Izumi Smart Home app by clicking “Check for firmware update” in your device settings.

4. What’s the wireless range?
   The Wi-Fi range depends on your home router and the conditions of the room, check your router for the exact data range.

5. How can I reset the device and what does the blinking light mean?
   There are two methods for re-setting the Color.Bulb.

   • Reset once (off and on 3 times) to reach Easy Mode, which , is the primary way to connect to the app. (In Easy Mode you’ll see the bulb flashing quickly 2x per second).
   • Reset again (off and on 3 times) to reach AP Mode, which 1 is the Backup Mode to help connect. (When in AP Mode, you’ll see the bulb blinking slowly, every 3 seconds).

• Not for use in totally enclosed lamps. Do not use with dimmers. Ensure that the voltage of the LED light bulb is compatible with the main electricity of your country before connecting to a bulb holder. Ensure that the base of the bulb matches the bulb holder. When the light bulb reaches the end of its cycle the bulb should be replaced.
