Safety and Recommendations
Each device is individually tested and factory set.
WARNING : The Module is designed for in-car use only. It MUST be well
integrated into the automotive environment (Tambient min. -40 °C to max. +105
°C) and needs to be installed by the OEM (car-manufacturer) or in case of
replacement by a professional garage.
WARNING : The product is maintenance-free and needs no adjustment of the
end-user.
You must not remove the device from the car nor use it as intended. Any
modification of the device will cause the cease of the device`s operating
license.
WARNING : The fuse used in the vehicle for electrical protection of the
control unit must comply with MBN 10430 (2011-11) and amperage of 7,5 amperes!
WARNING : The insolation of the used conductors with a cross-sectional
area of 0,5 mm2 or greater must comply with IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-3.
The insolation of the used conductors with a cross-sectional area of less than
0,5 mm 2 , must comply with IEC 60332-2-2.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Continental Advanced
Antenna GmbH could void the authority to operate this equipment.
