Function
The PRO Heater is an aquarium heater with an adjustable thermostat (1834°C). Tropical fish live in warm water, with this underwater heater you can heat the aquarium water to the desired constant temperature. The PRO Heater is equipped with thermal shock-resistant borosilicate safety glass and GSapproved for safe use.
Installation
- Install the heater in the aquarium with the supplied clips and suction cups. Install the heater upright at a minimum depth as indicated on the heater. The maximum operating depth is 1 metre.
- Allow the thermostat of the heater to acclimate for about 5 minutes with the water temperature.
- Turn on the heater by plugging it into the socket. Ensure that no water can get close to the socket.
- Set the desired water temperature (between 18-34°C) with the temperature knob.
- Always check the water temperature with an aquarium thermometer. Even though the heater has a temperature accuracy of ± 0.5°C small deviations are always possible.
Maintenance
- Clean the heater regularly using a sponge and a descaling agent. Dirt, lime deposits or algae can accumulate on the glass of the heater. After cleaning, rinse the heater thoroughly with clean tap water.
