ENERGY-SAVING AND SAFETY TIPS
- Do not obstruct or restrict the flow of air through the outlet and inlet grilles.
- For maximum performance, the minimum distance from the wall or object should be 50 cm.
- Keep the filters clean. Under normal conditions, filters should only be cleaned once every three weeks (approximately). Because filters remove particles dispersed in the air, more frequent cleaning may be necessary depending on the air quality.
- For the initial start-up, set the fan speed to maximum and the thermostat to a temperature 4-5 degrees lower than the current temperature. Then switch the fan switch to low speed and set the thermostat to the desired temperature.
- To protect the appliance, we recommend not using the cooling function if the air temperature is higher than 35 °C.

INSTALLATION
Warning : Please leave the appliance upright for at least 3-4 hours before using it.
This appliance can be easily moved from one room to another. When moving, keep in mind that it must always be in a vertical position and then placed on a flat surface.
- Attach the slotted end to the end of the hose by stretching the end and turning it until it is firmly attached (at least 3 full turns) (Fig. 1).
- Attach the connection at the opposite end of the hose to the outlet on the back of the appliance by plugging it in and turning it to lock it in place (Fig. 2).
- Make sure that the unit is in a vertical position and that there are no obstacles on the inlet and outlet grilles (Fig. 3).
WINDOW KIT INSTALLATION
The window kit (sliding bar and slotted end) can be used for sliding
windows and doors. For other types of windows, the slotted end should be used
separately.
- Partially open the window, and then attach the assembly for window installation to the window.
- Attach the slotted end of the hose to the opening in the sliding bar.
NOTES
- The window kit is only intended for installation in sliding windows or doors. The window set is not designed or cannot be used for any other type of window.
- The slotted end adapter can be used with most windows or doors even without a sliding bar.
- When using the air conditioning unit, make sure that the space remaining around the slotted end is as small as possible, as cooling would otherwise be less efficient.
- The best way to install is to pass through the wall.
- Proper ventilation will expel hot air from the room, while effectively cooling the air in the room.
- Your air conditioning unit can be used without an exhaust hose in dehumidification mode. When using the dehumidification mode, ensure that an external water tank is used, which will be monitored and emptied regularly so that it does not overflow. In dehumidification mode, a drain pipe connection can also be installed or an external water pump can be used for unattended use.
- The outlet must be well open and must not be blocked, as this would cause the appliance to overheat. Avoid bending the exhaust hose by more than 30 degrees. See pictures below.

PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS
FROST PROTECTION FUNCTION
If the exhaust hose temperature is too low in cooling, dehumidification or
energy saving mode, the appliance automatically switches to the protection
state. If the exhaust hose temperature rises to a certain temperature, the
appliance automatically returns to normal operation.
OVERFLOW PROTECTION FUNCTION
When the water level in the inner water tank exceeds the warning level, the
appliance will automatically emit a warning signal and “FL” will appear in the
LCD temperature display area. In this case, the inner water tank needs to be
emptied. After emptying the tank, the appliance automatically returns to its
original state.
AUTOMATIC DEFROST (ONLY MODELS EQUIPPED WITH COOLING HAVE THIS FUNCTION)
The appliance has an automatic defrost function: during defrosting, the
heating symbol will flash on the display.
AUTOMATIC THERMAL PROTECTION
To prolong its service life, the appliance is equipped with an automatic
thermal protection function. As soon as the protection is activated, the
compressor and the motor stop and after cooling the appliance automatically
returns to the normal heating state.
COMPRESSOR PROTECTION FUNCTION
To prolong its service life, the compressor is equipped with a protection
function of a three-minute start delay.
EMPTYING THE INNER WATER TANK
MANUAL DRAIN
When the inner water tank is full, the appliance stops working.
Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Avoid moving the appliance sharply, as
this could cause water to spill out of the inner tank.
Place a suitable container under the water drain plug or move the appliance to
a place where the water can be drained. Unscrew the drain plug cap and remove
the rubber plug (1) – water flows out of the inner tank (2). After draining,
replace the rubber plug and screw the drain plug cap back in place.
PERMANENT DRAIN
Unscrew the drain plug cap and remove the rubber plug. Connect the water drain
pipe to the drain. You can connect this pipe to an existing waste system,
direct it out and use a gravity gradient or use a water pump.
Note : This model is equipped with a self-evaporating function that reduces the frequency of the required emptying of the water tank. If the unit is properly ventilated, most of the water is used to cool the condenser coil and the excess is evaporated. Do not use the permanent drain if you want to use the self-evaporating function.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
SWITCH OFF AND DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING OR PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE
SURFACE CLEANING
Wipe the surface of the appliance with a damp soft cloth. Do not use chemicals
such as organic solvents, alcohol, benzine, etc., otherwise the surface or
internal functions of the appliance may be damaged.
AIR FILTER CLEANING
If the filter insert is clogged with dust, the efficiency of the air
conditioning unit will be reduced. The filter insert should be cleaned every
two weeks or as often as needed in your environment.
CLEANING THE TOP FILTER INSERT FRAME
With both hands, grasp the edge of the evaporator filter insert frame. Pull it
out and remove the filter insert from the frame. If used, unscrew the screws
holding the filter before removing (as shown in the figure above). Place the
evaporator filter insert in warm water with a neutral detergent (approx. 40 °C
/ 104 °F) and dry in a shady place after cleaning and rinsing.
CLEANING THE LOWER FILTER INSERT FRAME
Grasp the handle of the insert frame of the air intake filter and gently pull
it out to remove it. Place the filter insert in warm water with a neutral
detergent (approx. 40 °C / 104 °F) and dry in a shady place after cleaning and
rinsing.
MAINTENANCE AT THE END OF THE SEASON
- Remove the rubber plug and drain plug cap from the drain opening and empty the inner tank. You can also drain the water by tilting the unit.
- Then switch the unit to low fan speed mode.
- Leave the unit in this mode for half a day – until the hose is dry. This helps keep the inside of the appliance dry and prevents the formation of mould.
- Switch off the unit and pull the plug out of the socket.
- Replace the rubber plug and the drain plug cap.
- Roll up the cable and tie it, then insert it into the accessory compartment.
- Disconnect the air exhaust hose and store it securely.
- Cover the appliance and store it in a dry place.
- Remove the batteries from the remote control and store or dispose of them safely. Keep all accessories for this appliance ready for next season.

While filing a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorized service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person. The customer must submit proof of having concluded a purchase contract for the product by producing the receipt. While filing their complaint, the customer must indicate the noted defect and identify the preferred complaint application method.
Complaints processing
As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the
defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis. Where such a procedure
is not reasonable with regard to the nature of the defect, the user may
require to be supplied a new defect-free product (replacement), or, where the
defect applies to a part of the product only, replacement of the part
concerned. However, if replacement of the product or any part thereof is not

The customer also has a right to a reasonable discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within a reasonable time limit, or if remedying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer. The seller, authorized service center or a staff member authorized by them must decide about each complaint immediately or within three business days in complicated cases. This term does not include a reasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned, required for the defect to be assessed by an expert. A complaint, including defect removal, must be dealt with without any undue delay, yet no later than within 30 calendar days of the complaint filing date, unless the seller and the customer agree on a later deadline.
On returning the product (withdrawing from the contract) the customer must return any accessories and documents supplied along with the product. The customer does not have the right to keep the defective parts and components of the product replaced as part of a repair of the product.
